A card that I've been loving to run that I don't see a lot of people run is Meowth. Meowth feels so amazing to me it feels almost as mandatory as Oak or Pokeball. Opening Meowth, especially going second, is crazy good in slower decks like Dragonite because you just get free draws to help with your setup and also a body to protect your Dratini/Dragonair for example. You usually don't care if Meowth dies because it's just 1 point and by then it probably drew you like 2 cards and did a bit of damage which is essentially a free Oak. The main downsides is it's a free point for the opponent unless you set up your wincon fast enough to switch it out, and also the fact that you may not want to hit it off of Pokeball so it makes Pokeball a little less good. But IMO the benefits just far outweigh the drawbacks and I run it in almost every deck I have (except the really fast decks like Starmie and Pikachu, you probably don't need it there).
I think in the Dragonite deck list you could probably cut Sabrina for Snorlax, because you really don't want to lead Dratini so another tank is pretty good.
The problem is that with another basic Pokémon you reduce a lot your chances to get a Dratini in your starting hand. As well from a Poke Ball. That's why all meta decks have 4 basic pokémon at max.
larptic is the most underrated deck, you didn’t mention it and i’ve seen no one else mention it but it beats all the decks you showed with flying colour even with the worst rng and the opponent having the best rng😊
@@Volkin-PokemonTCGPocket two tentacruel line, two variations of articuno(reg and ex), lapras, sarina i think her name is(the girl that swaps the opponents pokemon) you need retreat as well. poke-balls and draw 2s of course and you can use misty if you have her. basically the name of the game is to chip your opponents with tentacruel and the poison so they are either forced to swap, die, or you swap them in the back for smt that can’t retreat or you just swap them in the back to deal more damage while smt else can’t as much and when they are in the back remember they can’t get poisoned so you need to take that into account by letting them sit on 10 hp without potions in hand so articuno ex can do a finishing blow later or maybe you can calculate that two blows will take the active pokemon and the backline bc you leave it on 20 anyways the point is it’s larptic control. you use tentacruel to control the game. lapras does high damage fast if you get lucky with misty while reg articuno is safe and versatile like tenatacruel. articuno ex is also somewhat versatile
Pulled a crown Charizard from one of the daily free packs and have to say I really think the full animation art cards are way better. Enjoying your content man. Keep it up.
na i just havent tested it yet but 150 dmg on 3 energy enemies is super solid. 120 to KO pika great too. but might need giovani to deal with starmie. also he can tap an over capped zard. i also think gengar has a place but need to test him too
Zam is good, idk what your whole list looks like but Zam is a solid non-EX deck. It attacks well into most of the EX pokemon. The reason it isn't on tier lists is because a lot of people haven't tested most of the decks that aren't built around EX mons.
I´d like to add moltres ex and centiskorch to the list this deck is so good having a on ex attacker with 130 smg output even oneshoting some ex´s is just amazing as a 1 stager with good hp by its self try it out trust me
i love this strat but the problem i have is that its more energy that you have to allocate and there is no way to turbo energy onto aerodactyle so its just more turns to get DNite ready
I play zard with a meowth/persian line which help drawing with meowth (when I got stuck with bad cards) and disrupt with persian (discarding key cards for oppo's hand and it's basically gg)
Update I reseted my 3star charizard pull account. :( only got him and some random 1 stars which were garbo 😢 Had a rapidash but rapidash was too squishy and does too little dmg
I like running Weezing/Greninja Minimal energy investment, can do damage gradually and can snipe if they want to retreat. Both can easily retreat for aurvival one with Koga and Gren is just 1 cost. Both of are also not EX so your opponent need to kill 3 of your slippery shit.
Having 2 stage 2 Pokémon seems to be pretty hit or miss based on your draw. Caterpie helps but I've still seen it fail. Charizard can always one tap venu despite any healing. But it is fun.
I know something that no one knows about pokemon tcg pocket. The only hint i'm giving is runtime. My only concern with this is your limited to mono color decks. I don't see how they can fix this or less they increase the deck size. Plus you can only run very little for output tell me their will not be a competitive side or the change more rules. If they change rules in will not be similar to any of tcg and tcg live games.😂 I like to see where this goes. Yet i think it will stay mono decks. I know the devs said they want to change this my question is how with the limited space? Plus I'm brewing before i get the game. Trying to decide if the meta decks the final build or can i bush the limited space to do what i want it to do. 😮 Anyway nice video. This is my opinion yet i still not sure how much of the limit i can push without it saying sorry 😔 your deck doesn't work. I still wonder 🤔 how they going make it better. I guess mono decks is the only way to go for now. Then again could you build a deck backwards 😂 or is it straight forward. No one can answer these questions yet. I saw the decks i been thinking 🤔 about the limit and is it a bad idea to push the limit 😕 into my favor or is their just similar builds with the limit. If so the limit is going make decks hard to build later on 😮😂.
@@GoOKuSj33 I’m only saying cause in the additional notes of the game it states. “Please note some cards may be banned in the future for the competitive state of the game.” Something along those lines.. but I know nothing of the real TCG
@@vance4172 I'm older now, but back in the day we had rotation for official tourney circuit so about 2-3 years of cards which got rotated out with new set releases every season and they would release like 3-4 new sets a year. There was never a need for banning because it would soon be rotated out permanently regardless (unless it was reprinted in future sets with new art or updated to be more balanced and that was mostly trainer cards or special energy cards anyway) or they would put new cards in new sets to either power creep it or invalidate it.
what deck do i need to test next?
Charizard please thanks!
Wigglytuff and dugtrio 😂😂 very coin flippy but It’s beating charzard decks and a koga deck
Weezing arbok muk to stall poison with corner

It's only good in slow decks. Mid to aggro it's a waste of a basic pokemon slot and gives almost no pressure.
Try charizard moltres with ninetails, blaine and ex speed. It's harder to play, but gives you more options, and you never brick.
that's absolutely not true lol, you would definitely brick with that deck a lot of times
META DECKS for a game that doesnt have 90% of its player base and no competitive mode!!!!
Someone didnt watch the first 2 minutes
You love it
Salty much? There are plenty of games being played to get a good idea for how they line up. That being said, this list isn’t very good.
Arbok deck is gonna be insane if we ever get Float Stone in this game. Tool card that gives the pokemon it is attached to gets Free Retreat.

You should try Greninja pigeot its really nice cause it gets set up early you can just stall so hard while gren chips people down

Bringing the Alakazam Deck for the tournament today and it not even being on here makes me worried lol

What tournament are we talking about?

Can someone tell me which tournament you talk about ? I want to participate into tournaments soooo much
What Tornament? how can we get the code?

How about the centiskorch with the charizard? It's pretty good, pretty beafy stage 1 and you get less stuck hands
Thoughts on running aerodactyl with Dragonite? Makes it rng based but slows the opponent down like crazy if it sticks
i love this strat but the problem i have is that its more energy that you have to allocate and there is no way to turbo energy onto aerodactyle so its just more turns to get DNite ready

ill test that out
When the game comes out for global release we will look back at this list and see. So much will change in a month.
i 100% agree
Update I reseted my 3star charizard pull account. :( only got him and some random 1 stars which were garbo 😢
Had a rapidash but rapidash was too squishy and does too little dmg
Tq for the updated for the global meta release on 30 Oct..
I think geovanni does have a place in Charizard as he allows charizard to 1 shot 70hp pokemon with slash
actually that might help come away from bricked hands. good point
I just know Misty needs a nerf it having a really high ceiling on a high roll 😅
I agree on all your list Volk including Nidoking.... They need EX
Im using gengar ex with pigeot right now
I like running Weezing/Greninja

I think mewtwo is higher I slap venosaur and pikachu decks with it Giovanni is crazy
Haven't played but from the videos I've seen Venusaur EX with the Butterfree is op and easy. What I would prolly main.
Having 2 stage 2 Pokémon seems to be pretty hit or miss based on your draw. Caterpie helps but I've still seen it fail. Charizard can always one tap venu despite any healing.
But it is fun.
I was playing Eggxecutor with Butterfree and Drowzee. Coin flip sim but very fun, annoying stall lol
Volkin I pulled a God pack yesterday and it was so mid 😢 x2 Full Art Charmander 😅

that's a lot of emojis...
In some decks I like 1x Meowth and 1x Redcard
meowth can be great especially in 3 stage evolution decks to get all ur pieces
bro early launch that need a vpn to play make these games so hard to play
Why not use jolteon instead of raichu?
i like jolteon but the problem is if u have eevee and not jolteon. eevee doesnt count to Pika EXs bonus dmg
kobra is so inconsistent. might add meowth
How are people playing this in the US already?
VPN
i want venasaur deck
what pack do i need?!
mewtwo packs
That Pikachu deck is so weird to me
Charizard Deck ftw! ❤
First banlist for this game will be nuclear, I think lol
we need a ranked mode first. fingers crossed
Pokemon TCG doesn't usually run banlist systems, we have very few cards banned, none in stardard.

That list isn’t fair
These are not meta decks at all ???
Venasaur is very, very OP. Test it out and you won’t regret it. Have it with either Liligant of Butterfree. Thanks for the content :)
oh i like the butterfree. also lets u run caterpie for the search
where the hell is blastoise??????
yall realy sleep on him
blastoise is solid (my sons fave deck) i just kinda meld him into the starmie deck but as a worse version but i really should give him his own tier
