I have the same problem with 2019 gtx 300 ltd I've ordered the new manifold 2 girdles one for the broken manifold another for the working seadthemy father as master tech is going to help me with the installation and removal. I do have a question is there a torque spec I need to seat the manifold bolts down to or any other suggestions you may have to make sure I do a proper install. Hi I have a 2023 Seadoo GTR 230 that will not rev out to 8000 rpm and only run’s 59/60mph at 7700 rpm . Only 20 hrs Impeller and wear ring are good , no codes TPS was reset. Wondering if you may have some insight to the problem.
Didn’t know this was an issue for the seadoos. Thought it was just a heavy boost LS thing, lol. But I just saw a video not long ago from JP talking about this. I believe it was on his cart. He had siliconed and self tapped it together but it didn’t hold. He did say it was a bandaid to make sure the cart would work first.
Question - I have a JP racing stage 1+ on a 22 RXTX. I am pulling my intake manifold for the girdle this upcoming weekend. Should I just do the ribbon delete as well? Does it make a difference? Thanks
@@DessiLu14 I ride lake and rivers, all fresh water. The river I go to is the north branch of the Potomac where it’s 12 miles of glass. Thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately every time that happens it’s with a customer and I always replace the intake manifold but I always wonder 💭 if it was my personal situation would I want to install the brace and put a boost gauge on it and see where the boost is what your supposed to have . But my only concern is to see if it will keep cracking all the way around. You can just try it for science and let us know in the channel what happens.

Depends on your riding style. If you strictly do lake riding , I'd say yes, remove it.
