- Even though I can't go anywhere and I can't do anything I treated myself to 3 new frocks last week. I love the sound advice in this public information film from WWII. I have a huge pile of mending to do, I plan to shop wisely and to make my clothes last!
Use your clothing coupons wisely and buy to last.
The story asks you not to waste your coupons or spend them immediately you get same, save them for an emergency. When you do buy clothes buy serviceable ones. CU Clothing coupons.

Cheaper to go to Primark nowadays, however this film is still relevant today as it reminds us never to waste unnecessarily!
Also gives us a pretty exact idea of clothes and hair-do's of the everyday 1940's woman rather than what one might see in glam cinema films of the day.
Primark is a very bad establishment, if they are selling us cloths that are disposable then imagine what the workers are being paid if at all. Slavery is still rife on this Planet let’s not forget . Children as young as 5 years of age are kidnapped and taken far away enough so that they are unable to find their way home and worked as slaves . So when we buy cheap items let us remember what WE support and it could happen to our babies
