Iceland - Vatnajökull Jökulsárlón - Glacial Lake

Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. Icebergs of all shapes and sizes and in many unexpected hues of blue, turquoise and white, break off from the glacier and float around the lagoon. On the Zodiac boat we are able to get closer to the icebergs than on the amphibian. When possible the Zodiac goes almost all the way up to the glacier.
