Love Nadine, one of those rare individuals looking to produce something unique rather than follow the crowd. Isn't that the whole point of strapping on an instrument? Superb musician ❤️
Never heard of her before Jools Holland last night (25/05) , and I was really knocked out by her and her band . Reminded me of many late 70's New Wave bands . Fantastic energy and the drummer is excellent.
I think it might of been 1993 when I found Sougia, does anyone remember the Pelican, that bird was such a character , I loved Sougia, hoping to return with my Children this year ❤
Quite funny, given the title, but I have to say that it doesn't really matter if someone isn't technically great, if their voice sounds right for their own songs. This was the first time I had heard Nadine Shah, and I was quite impressed by the originality of her songs and her unusual voice. I like the fact that you can hear her north-east accent; much more genuine than many modern singers.

Unreal, haven't been entranced by a performer like this for a while. Goosebumps

I enjoyed this performance whilst slightly terrified. Like nothing I’ve heard/seen in my 45 years so far.
Great to hear something so unique.
she's so cool. first heard of her last January when she smashed the London 02 before Depeche Mode. wow
Love Nadine's brutal honesty about things.
Smashed it out of the ball park Nadine... phenomenal performance from you and the band.outstanding.

Pure artistry and talent all round. I knew I was spoilt when I first heard this😊

The Greatest... much more to come from Nadine and her band, top form!
Yeah, gonna be obsessed with this song for a while I think haha.
A really great track and what a performance from Nadine and the band! Gotta love Jools for bringing these bands on the BBC!
So mesmerising. Makes you sit up and pay attention. More to come from Nadine I hope 🤘
Just spine tingling
Goddess
Gave it a like due to the great drumming....
Love it! This should be the official video for the song instead of the black-and-white marionettes one where you can hardly see Nadine at all.
Nadine has been compared to female artists such as PJ Harvey and is noted for the theatricality of her voice. Brilliant and Unique.

1:35 ah, the Buster Bloodvessel influence...
I wonder why she's the greatest dancer 🤔,
Reminds me of Morrisey…
Weird 😊
Sounds demonic
E é. Mas do melhor. Fantástica
Certainly not the greatest singer 😫
Funny comment .
You are right though Joan Baez/Sandy Denny/Dusty Springfield/ Natalie Merchant and Lisa Gerrald are all better
@@keithbate9405 along with many, many others
@@davidmasters2408 If you don't like her singing that will be a long queue (lol)
True but she does her own thing and she does have a unique vouce
