Canadian here. When my husband and I bought our first house in a Vancouver suburb in 1992, it cost 3.5 times our income. My daughter and son-in-law will have to pay 15 times their income for an equivalent home. I did not vote for Trudeau, not even once. Canada is broken.

The housing issues in Vancouver aren't because of Trudeau. I lived in Vancouver from 2010 - 2013. The housing issues existed then. Not that I would ever defend Dictator Blackface.
A huge issue in Vancouver is that there is not system in place to prevent foreigners from buying and owning empty homes. There is also the pay for citizenship scam of post Secondary. I went to Vancouver film school. I was in a class of 22. 2 of my classmates were locals, the rest of us were either out of province or out of country students. That's 20 students alone that had to find housing because we don't force post secondary to provide dormitories.
Vancouver has been migrating in it's housing problem since the 1990's and only now acts like it cares about fixing it.
How about you get the Municipal and Provincial Governments to pass laws forbidding foreign companies and citizens from owning homes in Vancouver where they don't even live or rent them out. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Many empty homes in Vancouver owned by Chinese Nationals who still live in China.

@weazz nah its goverment over regulation and reckless immigration. If we could build houses efficiently and cheaply without the insane cost and delays of permitting in this country, they would come way down. If we didn't bring in 3 or 4 times more people than we could build houses for yearly, it wouldn't even be an issue. But that's everything going to plan for them.

This is why the Liberals and Conservatives cycle through periods in power. The Liberals institute policies that drive the country Into the ground. When things finally get bad enough, enough people get fed up and put the Conservatives in power. They are tasked with fixing the damage done by the Liberals. Eventually people get tired of doing the hard but necessary things and along comes a Liberal with promises of “Sunny Ways” and good times. The electorate blindly ignores the fact that they and their descendants will pay heavily for these promises. The Conservatives are turfed and the Liberals empowered - and the cycle starts again.

Actually in politics there are only solutions because the trade-offs get ignored because that gets politicians elected/re-elected. That's a big reason why so many government solutions have so many unintended consequences which tend to occur after the election and then the politicians have to "solve" those consequences.

Canadian guy here. It is definitely collapsing. Over half my pay check per month goes to mortgage/property tax/home & auto insurance. That leaves me with $2000/mon for hydro, food, fuel for ONE vehicle, phone/internet, diapers, clothes, etc. That shit goes fast. I have a wife with two kiddos at home. I’m living in a $250K farmhouse because that was all we could afford!

When we talk about taxes, rarely is it mentioned what they pay for or subsidise.
Private school tuition (read schools that do not receive money from the provincial government) = $20 000 on average. This does not include text and workbooks, supplies, uniforms, class trips/outings, PD day care.
Healthcare costs. Ask your friend down in Carolina how much it costs him, be it extra insurance that he needs to purchase for his family or how much he has to pay out of pocket.
The roads you drive on to get to work, school, groceries....how much do you think they cost to provide and maintain?

I have clients who are single parents looking to get third jobs. I had an 80 year old client telling me she's planning to return to work to survive. Most seniors on pension use the foodbank. Most parents now put zero dollars for the amount spent on kids sports or extracurricular activities.

And to pay for all this, inflation has gone way up. So groceries, rent/mortgages, etc. have gone sky high. 🟢THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the Salvation of the last day that Christ brought in the second and last incarnation of His new and holy name"
(Now, I have worked with God's chosen people in China, to reveal all their rebellious dispositions and expose all their ugliness, and this is the context of saying everything I have to say. Those who do not improve will only be comparisons and tools for service, while those who improve will be used. Later, I will take these words that conquered you to foreign countries and I will use them to conquer the people there, but you will not get them. Would you not be compared to that? I have said that sometimes My wisdom is used based on the schemes of Satan. If you do not improve, if you are not made perfect but instead punished, will you not be a comparison? Even though you have been chastened and convicted, you still have not changed in any way, and deep down, you have not gained in any way, and deep down, you have not gained life. When the time comes to test your work, you will experience a trial as fierce as fire and more severe tribulation. As one who does not possess life, one who does not have an ounce of pure gold inside, one who still clings to the old disposition, and one who cannot even do a good job as a comparison, how can you not be removed? Of what use in the work of conquest is one who is worth less than an idler, one who does not possess life? Once all the work of Salvation has been done, there will be no more; what will happen is the beginning of the work of punishing those who are evil. You resist, you rebel, and you do things you know are bad. I'm giving you a chance to repent now, but you don't want to. I do not now remember your past transgressions; I will forgive you again and again, abandoning your negative side to look only at your positive side, because all My words and actions at present are to save you and I have no bad intentions towards you. Aren't such people just waiting for punishment and righteous retribution to come?)
      Almighty God said
Now, I WORK among the people CHOSEN by GOD in CHINA, to reveal all their rebellious dispositions and expose all their ugliness, and this is the context of saying all I have to say. ☀️
AFTERWARDS, when I FULFILL the NEXT step of the WORK of OPPRESSION in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, I WILL USE MY JUDGMENT on you to JUDGE the unrighteousness of everyone in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, because you people are the ones who REPRESENT the REBELS to mankind. Those who DO NOT IMPROVE will be COMPARISONS and SERVANTS only, WHILE those who IMPROVE will be USED. 🙏
Why do I say that those who do not improve will only serve as comparisons? ❇️
Because My words and actions in the past are FOCUSED on your ORIGIN, and because you have become the representatives and the example of the rebels to all mankind. Later, I will take these words that conquered you to foreign countries and I will use them to conquer the people there, but you will not get them.
Won't you be compared to so?
The CORRUPT DISPOSITIONS of ALL MANKIND, the REBELLIOUS ACTIONS of MAN, and the UGLY IMAGES and FACES of
PEOPLE---all these are RECORDED now in those
WORDS USED to CONQUER you. THEN I WILL USE THESE WORDS TO CONQUER those of every NATION and every DENOMINATION because you are the MODEL, the FIRST. 🙏
However, I did not intend to deliberately abandon you,'
if you have erred in your judgment therefore and
you prove you can't-- be cured, won't you just be a service tool and a comparison? ☀️
I have said that sometimes My WISDOM is USED based on SATAN'S SCHEMES. Why did I say that? Isn't that the truth behind what I'm saying and doing now? If you are NOT IMPROVED, if you are NOT MADE PERFECT but INSTEAD PUNISHED, will you not be a COMPARISON?
You may have suffered greatly in your time, but you still do not understand anything; you are ignorant of everything about life. ☀️
Even though you have been chastened and convicted, you have not changed in any way, and deep down, you have not gained life. When the time comes to test your work, you will experience a trial as fierce as fire and more severe tribulation.
This fire will turn your entire being into ashes.
As one who does not possess life, one who does not have an ounce of pure gold within, one who still clings to the old corrupt disposition, and one who cannot even do a good job as a comparison,
how can you not be removed? ☀️
Of what use in the work of conquest is one who is worth less than an idler, one who does not possess life?
When that TIME COMES, your DAYS will be HARDER than those of NOAH and SODOM! Your prayers will do you no good at that time.
When the rescue work is over, how can you come back later and start all over again
      repent? 😥
ONCE ALL RESCUE WORKS HAVE BEEN DONE, THERE WILL BE NO MORE; will take place is the BEGINNING of the WORK of PUNISHMENT on those who are WICKED. You RESIST, you REBEL, and you DO THINGS YOU KNOW ARE BAD.
Aren't you the SEVERE PUNISHMENT? 😪
I am making it clear to you NOW. If you choose not to listen, when the disaster befalls you later, won't it be too late if only then you begin to feel remorse and begin to believe? 😢
I'M GIVING YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO REPENT NOW, but you WON'T. HOW LONG DO YOU WANT TO WAIT? UNTIL THE DAY OF PUNISHMENT? 😢
I DO NOT REMEMBER now your PAST VIOLATIONS; I FORGIVE YOU OVER AND OVER, FORGIVE your NEGATIVE side to LOOK only at your POSITIVE side, because ALL My WORDS and ACTIONS in the PRESENT are to SAVE you and I have NO EVIL INTENT inyou BUT you refuse to ENTER; You CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE between GOOD and BAD and you don't know HOW TO APPRECIATE BEAUTY.

Mass immigration of cheap exploitable labor absolutely and utterly has ruined this country.
The insane amounts and insane pace of people coming in was not tied to housing, infrastructure, or even the economy.
We've got a Housing Crisis on steroids.
We've got a Healthcare and Infrastructure collapse.
And we've got a stagnating economy that per capita each quarter, we keep getting poorer.
So along with massive competition for work, the rental/ownership market also has massive competition…which means the most affordable and basic rentals/ownership options are in high demand making them almost impossible to access or if you even get lucky to get your hands on one, once the affordability crisis kicks in (which already has & getting much worse). As a Canadian, I don't really like it here anymore. I am 19, still very young, but my future here isn't too bright. My dad had to work his ass off to get to where he is today, but that was when things were cheaper, easier to get, and Justin Trudeau wasn't the Prime Minister. However, I think the main issue with Canada isn't Trudeau himself, but the voters. Canada is a WAY more Liberal country than the States. The problem in Canada is that we (as Canadians) will quickly throw away our Personal Liberties for the sake of Public Safety through our Governments (Provincial, Local, and Federal). The Trucker Protest we had only proves this point, since most Canadians supported the idea of using the Military to disperse the Protesters, to bring back "safety", and "peace" to Canada which thankfully, Trudeau didn't do. As a result, the Government enacted the "Emergencies Act" which gave the Government unchecked control over the situation. They used it to freeze any and all bank accounts of those who financed the protestors, arrest many of the leaders of the protest, disrupt the protest using the police, refuse to even hear or negotiate with the protestors, and much more. All in all, Canada and most Canadians are a place, and people who refuse to believe that Freedom from the Government is the Freedom most people in the world do not get to enjoy.

The main impediments are zoning, permits, environmental assessments, and development restrictions.

I learned about it when I was doing my B.Ed. degree to become a teacher and we were discussing the history of education in Ontario, particularly the Mike Harris era. During that time, there were many controversial changes, one of which related to school funding across the province. To better fund school boards in certain less-funded regions, some funding had to be directed away from the most lavishly funded board, namely the Toronto board. The board was operating some schools that were equipped with swimming pools and there were challenges in keeping those schools open and running. The communities with those schools had naturally become accustomed to the amenities. I don’t know what happened afterwards, but my understanding is that there were some Toronto schools with their own pools.

As a U.S. citizen who immigrated into Canada 7 years ago (when Canada was still awesome) & who just became a dual citizen, from what I've experienced and learned living here I couldn't possibly agree with you more. In fact, your statements are almost too understated.
I love both countries and Canada is special in its own way; but most Canadians are just woefully naive and expectant of a "good government" to take care of everything for them and for things to somehow be permanently "okey-dokey". This applies to all aspects of their lives: economics, security, travel, immigration, housing, you name it. It's written into the nation's constitution (which was handed down to Canada by the British Crown) and federal laws.
In some ways this cuts across party lines here; it's not a "Conservative/Libertarian" vs "Liberal/Centrist" issue, although recently the Conservative party has become the only group with the courage (under Pierre Pollievre) to challenge the Liberal-NDP authoritarian political concensus that's run the country for nearly a decade now.
I really, really, REALLY hope that my fellow Canadians will take away some hard-learned lessons from the drastic decline we've seen in under a decade, learn about how their government works (and doesn't work) and think about how we can make this a better, stronger nation.

@@ericp0012 Too late; the Liberals' mass-immigration policy has flooded the country with unskilled, unhealthy, uncivilized 3rd-World immigrants with absolutely NO civic or economic value to Canada. Which is also unfair to those of us who immigrated (from all corners of the Earth) under more legitimate auspices with a plan to become part of Canada and contribute to it. We all worked very hard to build new lives here, only to see the place ruined.
Over the past several years this mass-immigration occurred to the tune of 1 million people per year; previously it was a fraction of that, and IRCC was very picky about whom they let in (i.e. professional or trade skills, criminal background check, etc). This new 'post-nationalism' under Trudea has had DISASTROUS knock-on effects with crises in housing, healthcare, violent crime, and employment.
Interestingly enough, the Canadian mainstream news (especially the CBC) doesn't even approach this subject. Why? Because most of the Canadian press is either partially or wholly subsidized by the federal government. Hey, that would be another great topic - Canadian conflicts of interest. Here is a clear example of the corruption and lack of accountability and ethics in the Canadian system. During the pandemic, Canada passed laws requiring everyone to use an App on their phones to track their cross border movements and vaccination status. The Amish have no electronic devices or mobile phone or land lines. The also did not take the vaccines due to their beliefs. They would often cross the border to work with fellow Amish in the US, share resources and such. So Canada starting fining them for every instance of not using the App to cross the border and every instance of doing so not being vaccinated while they had a legal exemption. Then recently they discovered, the Canadian government had place lies on most of their properties in the tune of $400,000 (Canadian I believe) discovered when a dying parent tried to transfer his land to his son, and the bank said they could not help due to the liens. And of course the Amish never knew about this as the government tried to contact them by non-existent emails, and texts to phones that do not exist, as the border guards filled in the required fields on the fine process with junk so they could record the fines. And recently other groups have had to step up to help the Amish challenge this as they are peaceful and following their faith they were not fighting the government. And the government so far informed of this has not backed down (how dare you not do what WE tell you despite your faith basically).

This is where the Amish are right. Technology is helpful up to a point. But mixed with AI and the wrong hands, you get a surveillance state. That is way too Mark of the Beast for my liking. Ever since the trucker protest and freezing bank accounts, I’ll never trust the government again. I’m almost all cash now for in-person transactions, even though almost all people use cashless because it’s easier. But convenience comes at a cost of your privacy. Probably half of the people whining about Trudeau are people who voted for him in 2015. I knew from the beginning that his leadership would be bad news, but unfortunately, Canadians don’t seem to know what’s really good for them. Say what you will about his predecessor Stephen Harper, his authoritarian management style, his government’s differences with some public servants, and his occasional corniness with his family, but life for most Canadians was fairly good during his time as PM, especially when there were more troubled times in other countries. Canadians didn’t appreciate how good they had it. Personally, it hasn’t affected me or my wife greatly, given that we have been mainly living overseas since 2017, but it’s often depressing to follow the news back home. My wife has little desire to return until we retire to our paid off house in the GTA and probably just stay at home when we’re not out of the country travelling.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.
There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.
Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Canadians are pretty concerned about our national debt too. Trudeau has doubled the federal debt, digging us into a hole by spending more than ALL previous federal governments in Canadian history COMBINED. The interest on that debt will not only cripple our ability to fund our massive social programs now, but for generations to come.

Yes! The trouble is, in Canada, we have an East-West divide and a rural-urban divide. Rural and West is generally much more conservative, but because of seat count, Trudeau can win by simply winning most of the larger cities.
For Canada to work, we really need a much, much smaller central government. This is actually how Switzerland works. It is really a confederation of cantons (like provinces). It is necessary as some of the cantons don’t even speak the same language. Canada is technically a confederation too, but the central government has been allowed to grow too much over the years.

But we are also dying a death by a thousand cuts. Financial is second to the loss of fundamental rights and freedoms. It’s easy for them to get bank loans, mortgages etc… they come from rich families, they buy up companies and only hire Indians, so it’s going to be almost impossible for the younger generation to get jobs. They also get wage subsidies and rent subsidies from the government which we pay for, they get free bus passes for a year in NS, free checking accounts with the bank for a year. I don’t know why? Canadian here, been working frontline in healthcare for 20+ years, the last 10 as a mental health therapist at a kid’s hospital.
Canadians are an incredibly complacent group, esp the older generations who were “tranquilized” by that long period of increasing peace and prosperity from the 1950s until recently. Of course, the actual economic prosperity dried up in the 70s/80s and since then we’ve simply had false prosperity created by mortgaging off the future well being of younger generations to benefit the old and big business. This is not simply an economic phenomenon, this is also seen in terms of psychological health and well-being.
In 2014, Canada ranked 33 out of the 38 OECD countries (most developed nations) for their teen self-deletion rate. In 2022, they ranked 35th and by 2025 are expected to rank last. Keep in mind that self-deletion is often worse in developed countries, except for perhaps the nations most crushed by war and poverty. Even then, youth self-deletion is not as bad as in the third world.
Third world countries, for all the misery they must deal with, tend to have stronger social institutions at the local level (relationships, marriage, family, community). People hold each other up and lean on each other. What’s more, in poorer countries, people do not take life for granted. They are more constantly aware of the fleeting nature of life, more acquainted with and accepting of loss and tragedy.
Canada doesn’t just rank last place among OECD countries for youth mental health but it essentially ranks last place in the world. That doesn’t mean that everything about a kid’s life is worse in Canada, but in terms of mental health statistics and the completely overwhelmed healthcare system, Canada is a dystopian land with the veneer of first world quality of life. The truth is that mental health stats are accelerating in the wrong direction and our healthcare and mental health care systems are a complete mess.
Ask any Canadian about how long they’ve had to wait for any type of medical care. For youth with mental health concerns, many wait up to a year and a half to see a psychiatrist, let alone accessing treatment, since all programs also have long wait lists. If you are a youth/young adult with autism and needing a group home, there is a minimum 5 year wait and as bad as 15 year wait.
Since summer 2020, the hospital I work at has been seen a continual rise in mental health admissions. Not just a rise in admissions but a rise in the severity of admissions, with younger and younger kids being admitted for things like self-deletion. The most common admissions are for self-delete, overdoses, severe eating disorders, psychosis, recently lots of brain inflammation (encephalopathies) and also lots of kids with developmental conditions whose mental health deteriorated massively during the lockdown and school closures.
The news reports on this only in hushed tones and with vague headlines. Clearly it’s a bleak topic but also one that is a severe indictment of our society and especially regarding how the pandemic was handled, how our youth’s well-being was so readily thrown under the bus, even when the policies were meant to protect them (they had the opposite effect).
Of the 38 OECD countries, 31 have universal healthcare. Of those 31, Canada ranks 1st place for how much they spend on funding and only 28th place for how many physicians we have available per capita. For nurses and other frontline workers per capita, we also rank at the bottom (see the MacDonald-Laurier institute’s report titled “Canada’s Governance Crisis” for the data).
Canada spends the most for its universal health care but has almost the worst frontline capacity, we spend the most but have among the least frontline staff per capita. Another telling statistic is that Canada has more than double the health admin staff per capita than does Germany, and Germany is often seen as having the best healthcare system. If Germany had a good system, they obviously have adequate health admin staff. Yet Canada had more than double that amount per capita. This tells you where all that funding is going.
And yet the debate around this is stuck at leftists screaming “more funding” and conservatives yelling “less funding!” The real issue is allocation of funding. We already spend the most, more funding won’t fix the issue. It would take a Herculean effort to follow the money trail. My guess is that it would take at least 50 post-graduate public health policy researchers a minimum of 5 years to sort through all the fiscal sleight of hand and needlessly complex transfers between federal and provincial levels.
I have a few friends who do this type of research (though they are rarely allowed to look at anything so potentially damning) and they say that Canada is “incredibly opaque” with regard to the data on funding compared to other countries.
All of this will get worse. Perhaps that is why Trudeau and his Liberals have pushed so hard to expand the eligibility for their medical-assistance in dying legislation. What better way to save money than to cut short the lives of miserable people who require mental health care.
Canada has the most extensive program for medical assistance in dying, they even gave it a cute acronym (MAiD), which sounds more like an apple product. Canada also has the least restrictive assisted-dying program. Even the leftist US magazine Jacobin has wrote about the horrors of this dystopian program.
Worst of all, Trudeau’s party continues to push for people with mental illness to be eligible, including “mature minors”. Had the first writing of the bill passed into law, “mature minors” would be able to apply without the need for parental consent…
When you consider this in the context of Canada’s incredibly broken and deteriorating healthcare/mental healthcare systems, the MAiD program seems more coercive.
When adequate treatment is not available and the society around you is falling apart, the offer of free medical-assisted dying, no wait lists, seems more like a forceful nudge in the direction of self-deletion.
By 2030, medical assistance in dying is expected to be the leading causing of death in Canada. Many current applicants cite their reasons for applying as being unable to access healthcare or denied treatment, or simply being broke.
This is the Canada that far too many Canadians are too complacent to acknowledge. Our youth will inherit this. Many of these youth are already suffering immensely. How many will have the wherewithal to fight back? How many will be too demoralized, discouraged or broken to speak out? Just consider how our youth experienced the pandemic and the abhorrent pandemic policies, and how no one will acknowledge the needless suffering pushed on them. And consider how the alienation, isolation and loneliness growing for everyone in our society. These issues have been building for decades and the longer we stay silent, the more we are complicit in building a hell-on-earth for younger generations.
