Koda has been my #1 inspiration since I first listened to his music at the age of 15. It's been more than 10 years now and I am making my own music, only thanks to him. I believe that this world and my life wouldn't be the same without Koda. I'm incredibly grateful for his works and the amount of inspiration they gave me.
Everything about this song is just perfect. Its one of the songs I find myself replaying the most when i walk alone at night in cold downtown montreal.
uma pessoa mt especial me apresentou essa música, já se passaram uns anos. ele continua sendo especial onde quer q esteja e eu ainda ouço essa canção vez ou outra, talvez ele ouça tb...
I always listen to this back when I was not in the good space mentally and this 2021 I have conquered that, I still love this song it reminds me the darkest part of my psyche that I have confronted, accepted and healed alone.
@@kaktotak8267 Lmao. Epic. I dont like to be so shallow, but whats better than a pretty and cute woman? They just feel different. Tho ill just need a woman that loves and that i love.
This has been my favorite song for ever. I really dont listen to it often, but everytime i do so, i enjoy every second of it. This song can make any moment special. This song can bring tears to my eyes in an instant. I am always scared i somehow lose it and never find it again. I will always come back to this song and cherish it. Thank you for this masterpiece.
@Dimitri That's interesting. But the makeup is just that. A makeup. I'm sure she looks gorgeous without it too. Not to mention the uniqueness of a human.
I've been listening to this for years now and can't really get tired of it, there is something really mesmerizing about it, that makes you feel melancholic and yet happy
The model in this video- Kathy Simmonds, has become such a style inspiration for me. She’s absolutely stunning. Mod queen. This video is entrancing, I remember listening to this in eighth grade💖
10! 10 fucking years ago this video came to be and introduced a whole new genre of music videos and music genres! The girl is from a British movie and SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
Its kind of sad to see how people here seem to be raving about this girl instead of cherishing this incredible song. Yet again this is a song more romantic, complex and beautiful than most people can possibly conceive.
+Exist64 Just so you know, arrogance and patronization is a common trait among unintelligent individuals. Maybe there is something in her face that is too beautiful for you to conceive, maybe there is something in the way her eyes and lips move that is too complex for you to recognize. The same people commenting on how she looks are the same people who sat there listening to this song and watching her face for 7 minutes, would they have done it without the music? Probably not. They go hand in hand. Don't be an asshole.
+REACH! Music Excellent comment. Perfect reasoning and I cannot deny anything you said. On the other hand let me point out that it is very likely that there is more in this beautiful, 7 minute long song than in the brief moment captured in this admittetly excellent gif. Close your eyes and listen to that song with decent headphones, I wonder what you might see and feel. You may even agree with me afterwards.
+Exist64 The thing is, the gif is a intense capture of emotions, thats why it distracts from the song. I agree that the song is way more beautiful then it get's recognized due to the gif. But the combination of the long slow emotion of the song and the short intense emotion of the gif is, what makes is perfect. You both are right, guys
Damn girl, I've been in love with this song for years. Played it when I loved the vibe and felt the words when I felt them. I don't know why I just now hit subscribe 😅 but Ive always been a fan 😊
''Previously a girlfriend of Rod Stewart's, Kathy Simmonds also became romantically linked with Harry Nilsson around the time of his "A Little Touch of Schmilsson in the Night" LP where she is pictured on the gatefold sleeve. She worked as a model, appearing on Top Of The Pops, and in 1968 she played the role of Samson in groupie film "The Touchables" which was directed by famous Beatles photographer Robert Freeman. In 1974 when she was just 24 years old she began dating George Harrison whose wife Pattie had left him for his friend Eric Clapton. Convinced that their relationship was going to progress into something deep and meaningful, possibly even viewing George as her true love, she moved in with him into a little villa near St George's Bay in Grenada. They spent several happy weeks there together before George left for LA to plan his first solo concert tour. As Harrison flew off alone to Los Angeles, leaving Kathy behind quite broken hearted, it became apparant that the affair was merely a casual fling for George.'' SOURCES: 1960s and 1970s magazines. Yo... gio.... do you know what happened to get after that though... thaat's where it really gets interesting and she stays looking the same far into her 60s. But I think she was the first congressional witness in the investigations into an Elite sex cult extracting chemicals from people's brains at heightened states of horror as a sacrifice to..... things above and below.... and looks and acts and the exact same and is just as traumatized and distant but privy to astounding info. Its creepy. She went on a short lecture conference circuit tour in the late 80s or 90s and then was unexplainably "suicided".
I made a video from The Touchables movie with a really nice song from Eevee, starring Kathy Simmonds and some other great beauties, you can check it in my channel, it's "eevee - opium" ^^
My absolute favourite song ever since I heard the preview on soundcloud almost two years ago. It means so much to me. And im astonished that i seem to be the only one.
***** Its good to hear that. I have to check out mirrormask, maybe I will be able to imagine why that song means so much to you, but there is no way any sond could ever replace Waking for me. This song is just something else for me. And hopefully it will still be in the future.
This song is so special to me, i dont even have words to describe it, i listen to it everyday, it sings to my soul and its my favorite song of all time
naruhina123456789100 "sings to my soul"...yes, its actually similar with me. I feel like this song describes everything that's going on inside me. But I intentionally listen to it very rarely and not everyday, because I am afraid that the magic might fade away at some point, since that's what happens if you listen to one song too often
+Exist64 I don't know if this is going to make sense to you. But when you said ' i seem to be the only one' in your comment, i was in the middle of listening to this song and as a musician hundreds of songs can be merged together in my mind on a daily basis. Anyway, i feel the same way as you so you're not the only one as your comment states (which is a good thing right?) anyway the words 'i'm not the only one' from the Nirvana song 'Rape Me' came to mind, in perfect melody with this song (because that's what i was hearing). And though the songs are different, i'd like to thank you for creating that melodic rupture in my mind. Who knows maybe i'll get my band to do a mash-up of both songs. Light, Peace and Love, stranger.
+Aether Gwangwa Now that was very interesting to read. I have to admit that I dont know that Nirvana song, but Im just glad that there are more people who cherish this wonderful song like I do.
there's something really special and intriguing about this blue background gif, what kind of shade is this, cerulean? But it's a little darker, maybe lapis? Amazing view.
This song has such a mood, I love it! I wonder where this clip came from, it looks like it is from an old movie. Now I am curious to see this movie, if it exists.
This songs reminds me when i was working in a warehouse, after high school. I worked from 6 to 15 and i had to go by bike. Was getting the drivers licence, at that time. Id listen to this (and the other songs on my... dont know if it was phone or mp3) on the way back home.
