    This video with public/private key is the best because it is much better to hold this public/private key in a secure way and travel with it and connect to your network from any trusted computer

    Excellent tutorial on how to set this up.
    A question about the DNS IP address. Do we put a public IP address for DNS there or would we use our local ISP router IP address if that is what is providing DNS for us now?
    Secondly, if we are using the Adguard add on, would the DNS IP address be the IP address of the Adguard server?

    I'd love to see a video for setting up a Wireguard SERVER with WiFi AP, so I could connect (for example) my Roku to it for remove connection (independent of HA)

    Great, thanks!
    After installation, do we have to delete duckdns ports 443/8123 and leave only 51820 or both must remain open?

      I would like to know that as well.. Since I've deleted the 8123 rule, I can't access my HA through my duckdns address anymore..

    Running pi-hole and HASS in docker so would love to get the adguard guide so I can then leverage my current ad-blocker.

    Is there any way to do VPN without using port forwarding on the router? maybe a paid service that redirects like peer to peer?

    When I follow these instructions: "public_key:" cannot be saved. I can do "public key:" or "pub key:" but when I type in "public_key:" it doesn't work. It also doesn't work with the QR code set up

    What if are using Nabu Casa instead of duck.dns. What do we place in that field.

    • @JuanMTech
      @JuanMTech  3 года назад

      I believe it works with Nabu Casa.

    • @Eng.Daniel.Campos
      @Eng.Daniel.Campos 2 года назад

      @@JuanMTech It doesnt work. i tried to use the remote URL from Nabu Casa but the port 51820 is not forwarding. So it's impossible to use wireguard with nabu casa.
