NIce video footage. PS I will never complain about being cold again whilst windsurfing here in the tropics where the sea has dropped from 27c to 25c over the past few days. Damn
@@pmenchions It was ideal tides that day; mid way between neeps and springs and still dropping, but not too shallow to ground the fin. The real speed dudes would have gone further out for the stronger and less gusty wind, but not sure I'll ever be that good or ballsy! www.tide-forecast.com/locations/Portland-England/tides/latest
@@robmilligan3650 Hard to call mate. Garmin says I spiked at 27.7Kts last year, but that was out of control on a JP62 and not sure I'd claim it as it might just have been my left wrist achieving that as I catapulted back then. I reckon this run was probably a "controlled" PB; even though it didn't feel very controlled. Matey who I chatted to on the water has very kindly lend me his 39cm Select Vmax for this Futura; so gonna try that when wind swings W and +30Kts next. How's it over in NI? Must've got some battering last few days Shipperz?
Yes last Friday was the worst I’ve ever seen. Lost a few slates off the roof! Went out on the Futura yesterday hoping for 15-18Kts, however breeze died away. Should have gone foiling! Trying again this afternoon…
@bobbinabout1317 The field opposite Castle Gardens flooded, so no doubt some posh-twat dog walkers will write a strongly worded email to Lord Digby, complaining about the inadequate drainage and threathening to cancel their Season tickets to walk around the poxy Castle.
That's a lot of wind for a 5.4
Yep.... but that's al I got🤦♂️
Nah, just hold on 😅
@@Stefmeisterados You got it!! And I have the twisted ankle this morning to prove it!!! Hobbling around, looking for sympathy from Mrs...... 🤣

Last time I was at Portland was when Osprey closed, I’ll have to drag my a$$ back down there….
