Any regrets or issues? Have you got ColorOS 13 and if so has it been an improvement above v12 especially on battery life and the camera quality in low light (i.e. blurry subjects)?
how’s the battery life? i’m looking to get this one for 585$ at my local phone shop. I’ll be using only RUclips, Twitter, Binance, Web Casino, How long will the battery according to my usage? Will it last 7hrs?
Just got mine for a bargain.. traded in my flip 4.. this is a stunning phone and the only one that has even come close to me going away from my flip. Fantastic job from oppo across the board 👏👏👏🤩
I used it for a whole year and here's my review: The specs of the phone are impressive for the price, but the delivery of that performance is really poor. I had a few software issues, lots of bugs in the UI and on top of that the only game I play on mobile (Diablo Immortal) was constantly lagging, fps drops, even on the lowest graphics settings. Even factory resetting wouldn't make it better. I opt to pay less for something that I thought was promising, but truly regret it. I ended getting a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S23+ for the exact same price and DAMN, I regret so much not getting the Samsung in the first place.
Yeah I agree, also it sucks that most Chinese phones give this rubbish software and customer experience. The hardware is generally good. I bought my first Samsung this year in a decade and man the refinements are insane. Just way better experience than any China phone.
My beloved Oneplus 7T pro finally kicked the bucket after nearly 4 years of use. I never saw the point in upgrading as it is SUCH a good phone, however, my hand has been forced and I have ordered one of these as a replacemet. I hope it can live up to the 7T pro, looks like it can!
Had mine 2 years now after buying it super cheap on a black friday deal in '22 . Battery life just starting to fall away now but still lasting a day . Given it will get A15 i will replace the battery once i find it necc and plan on keeping this for another year if not 2 . Does everything i need of a phone and its just so damn good looking , Still looks as new as the day i bought it . AI i couldnt GAF .
It is definitly a good choice! I use it since last year and i never had a better phone! So cool design, feels solid and expensive! Works really fast and i love the battery life and the vooc technology... Really impressed with oppo! 🙃
Just got one 2 days ago from CEX for 470£. Great phone, worthless for trade in value though. Will look to use it for another 6-12 months and see what the Pixel 8 pro is going to be like.
I've had the Oppo Reno 6 Pro for a full year, before that had the Oppo X3 Lite for a year and a half, and I'm probably getting an Oppo X5 Pro White second hand for about 350-400€ by end of this year. Used to work at Vodafone when it was launched and we got the demo unit and I always told people that if I could have ANY Android phone it would be the X5 Pro in WHITE. Holy crap what a beautiful device with the ceramic finish. Wouldn't pay 1300€ or 1000€ for a phone but for 350-400€ the hardware alone is worth it and for me the design is still on another level versus pretty much any other phone out there. Used to love the Samsung S22 white but camera and hardware are better on the X5 Pro and the S22 is a too small, good as a second phone but not as my main one. I actually wanted to get the Nothing Phone 2a Plus in black, but after a lot of consideration the X5 Pro second hand is a better deal at 350-400€ instead of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus for 450-500€.
Literally just received mine from Amazon rn, which is replacing my 4 Yr old Huawei P20 Pro only because after many drops I finally broke the camera! 😭😭 The x5 looks great! Got it 12 interest free monthly instalments for £700 total. It's £799 in the OPPO store. My son has the Lite version and he is super happy with it
I’ve had this phone for a week. Now and seriously not impressed ,coming from a p20 pro I find the camera is far worse, try taking a pic from across a room and the zooming in horrible quality compared to the p20 pro , I can’t understand why everyone is raving about the camera ?,!,the battery die at the end of the day with moderate usage not an upgrade to be honest unless you like a bigger screen
Absolutely the best phone of 2022 and still at this time of 2023. Forget Samsung or apple the oppo find x5 pro smashes it. You can get it graded a pretty much new at shops for less than 600
Seriously underrated phone. Had it since launch, got a great deal with unlimited data for only £43 a month, along with the giftbox that came with it. 256gb storage and 12gb RAM, and the fast charging makes it worth it alone I don't think I could go without now honestly. Cameras are very strong but can be a little inconsistent and zoom is knowingly weak, but then I know all phone cameras have inconsistencies - even the iPhone 14 series cameras have got issues with overexposure. If I had waited I'd definitely have been tempted by the Pixel 7 Pro but I was very much in need of an upgrade at the time so I'm overall very impressed.

Beautiful nicely rounded Sp! Oppo is my favorite brand 🙂👍 .... And find x5 pro is one of altogether most beautiful phones ever! Especially in white edition.
I've got both the phones but I've put my pixel 7 pro away and I'm using my find x5 pro I find the oppo to be much better phone out of the two while photography etc can be debated the pixel 7 pro always seemed to drop network connection and would make a phone conversation really bad to the point you couldn't hear the other person! Find x5 pro never dropped a connection always crystal clear calling.....
14 months after release, and a brand new Oppo Find X5 Pro can be bought for as low as AU$899 (€550/£472). I bought mine with a further 5% off, plus will get the 10% GST (tax) back after my overseas trip starting today! ✈️ All up, about AU$770 (£405). Pays to buy last year's model, brand new from the store ❤ Considered Pixel 7 Pro, as that's now AU$999 (£525), but only 128gb, no case, no charger. Thanks for detailing your experience, made the right choice 🤩💖
LOVE IT! Thanks for your review, you made me buy one 2 days ago, since my s20 fe broke. I bought for something like 400$, because of an offer from my phone company. After a couple of days of usage, i can say that is a really really underrated phone, I mean, it's like a real flagship and the ultra fast charge is the way to go for me.
@@kacimoayadi4479 I find it good for my use. 1 day and a half, but most importantly, you can recharge at 80W, which means that in 30-40 minutes you'll be good to go for another day.
Still in dilemma whether to get this or the sony xperia 1 IV. My xperia xz 1 is 6 years old and starting to show it's old age. I love sony as my current phone lasted so long, not sure if I should remain loyal or try out the oppo x5 pro which I heard so many good things about
See now...I've been deciding between this and the S22 Ultra (exynos being that I'm in the UK). This video may, may, be the deciding factor. And I'm not sure if the S22U's issues have fully resolved with One UI5. Even a refurbished handset is still a lot of money for a phone that has lag and focus issues with the camera. I know the X5 Pro isn't perfect but it'll be a decent upgrade from a faithful 4year old Galaxy Note 9.
Get it worth it propper fast charging 0-100 20mins for me this is part of reason I won't buy another Samsung 1 hour to charge in 2023 that's piss poor🤣🤣🤣
🤔buying a shitty Exynos ? I would never buy this thing ( last 12 years on Samsung devices ). S23 will come with 8 Gen 2. I know it's lot of money but you will be good for 4/5 years. S22 Ultra will disappoint you. At the end, it's your money, good luck.🙂
Purchased my second Find X5 Pro for $700AUD and I love it probably one of the best phones I work in a Telco company and so I'm constantly using different phones and it holds up pretty well to the iPhone 15 Pro and S24 Ultra. Although the camera is getting abit dated. I also live and die by the 80W charger.
Picked up the Find X3 Pro for £400 a few weeks back, upgraded from the OnePlus 7T. Was disappointed at first as it seemed to lack a lot of useful features the 7T had running OOS 11, such as the chromatic reading mode, the power button menu not having Google Wallet, plus some other issues, and the selfie camera is pretty nasty, but I've grown to quite like it and I feel I will only grow to like it more! The back cameras are so cool, love the microscope and light painting modes! Performance and charging speed is so nice too! I did notice that on RUclips and Instagram, those apps get locked to 60hz, and I wasn't sure why, it feels jarring. Also I had trouble with receiving notifications, I think it's mostly fixed now but it's silly that I had to go into each app and allow it to run in the background.
Just got mine on facebay for £400 like new in the box. I'm unsure whether to risk the update to android 13 or leave it on the current version 12. On my Huawei mate 20p I could use ADB to disable system updates, can't find it for this. I found that the updates slowly crippled the camera quality. X6 on the way hint hint.
I purchased mine as a EE retentions contract upgrade back in October 2022 Oppo also had a £200 Cash back deal which Oppo ran directly which I received Just before Xmas ..EE also for a limited period offered £300 pre-paid MasterCard!!! At the same time...I think the Oppo Find X5 Pro is a Bloody First rate flagship!!! Can't fault it personally. I sold my previous HUAWEI P30 Pro (New edition 2020) on eBay and got £300 . Watch this space Oppo will slowly creep up to Samsung and will certainly beat the newer Oneplus 11 for sure .
Absolutely love my find X5 pro had the X5 then went pro just for the IP rating but the X5 just as good great phones I wouldn't go with Samsung again unless they bring propper fast charging out IE 0-100 in 20 mins or so another thing the battery life is outstanding on either the X5 or pro model shower shave and shit and it's fully charged love it 🤣🤣
Have ordinary x5 non pro. Phone is amazing. What impress me most is battery life. Easy full day of heavy usage, 10h SoT. Great phone. Paid 500 euros two months ago.
tempting to buy the regular x5 too. it's €530 here. Would you recommend it? How's the battery life and how is the camera? (with and without zoom). My other option is the Pixel 6a for €350.
@@pieter-janvdv7216 Battery life is great, 8h to 10h screen on time. Camera is very good, but zoom is lacking (i would say average at best). It is very nice phone, haptics are great, stereo sound great, have nice bass and sound fullness, cameras are good to excellent depends on scenario and light conditions. Only downside is zoom and ram management. 8gb is not enough for keeping all apps running in background, plus ram management is aggressive so it shuts down apps that are not used for hour or more.
I bought this phone on your recommendation 6 months ago and don't regret it. It was far cheaper than even the small S22 on EE. The charging speed is brilliant and it's everyday performance is faultless. The camera can get some amazing shots too. It does get hot during even short stints at gaming tho
Agree with this, just bought a X5 coming from Mate 20 Pro (brilliant phone), not a lot between them but good to be on Android 13 and will 15 at some point. Would recommend.
Am looking for a bussines phone more of a backup phone of my S23 ultra when the battery dies...I am struggling to choose one from Oppo Find X5 Pro or the xiaomi 12t pro
Love this phone, but didn't offer enough to make me move from a Find X3 Pro - the zoom is still pants. Roll on the Find X6 Pro and looking forward to your frank review when available 🙂
Unfortunately if you already seen the news and where your from the find X6 only available in China and from what I seen on twitter by oppo UK their no plans on bringing it over to the UK or Europe anytime soon
@@TheAlmorah your guess is as good as mine as I assume it might be due to the lawsuit with nokia as I know they been banned from selling their phones in other countries I tried getting the find x5 pro from EE but when I went in found out they cancelled my order apparently they stopped selling them and by the looks of things o2 and Vodafone too but that cause it like like few years old now .. I assume there a reason behind it as sure it sold well outside China
Considering getting this to replace my terrible Iphone 13, I've had nothing but issues with apples iphones being terrible. I mainly use the camera / video for social media etc. Would this be a great swap? Please note i am not wanting rubbish comments from apple fan boys, just honest answers
How does this compare to the regular version of the pixel 7? (not the pro) They're essentially same price and size. Particularly camera and video quality. Not sure which to go for
I have a fair few issues with this phone. Edge of screen isn't very responsive, if I pull a song back to the start, it usually goes back to about 13 seconds and doesn't register the rest of the swipe towards the edge. As mentioned here, fingerprint scanner is poor. In multi task the close all button never closes anything. Camera is great but also glitches ocasionally. Usually, sods law, on a photo you can't take again. It does some weird lighting thing looking like half the picture has been done in felt tip. For me Xiaomi smash Oppo for overall experience and professional quality. Which is strange as Oppo were a massively high end tech company. Back to Xiaomi for me next time, sadly I'm stuck in a long contract with my Oppo.
You have great taste in music ;) I love my X5 Pro. Any issues I did have seen to have been fixed or just gone away. I had severe Bluetooth audio skipping early on. It made me sad because music is my whole life! Noone could find a fix. It seems to have stopped now and I have no issues! The case and screen protector I got with it are really great, my phone is pristine despite being dropped a couple of times. My ONE big issue is lack of zoom on the camera. That drives me nuts. Otherwise I'm really happy with it. I don't think it's worth the price tag but it is a lovely handset 🥲 thanks for the vid
I've got the s22 ultra ATM tempted to buy one of these of a friend for £400 , I find the s22ultra battery not the greatest 🤔 . Wanting something that won't eat away my power even on standby tempted to also buy the RedMagic pro 8 choices 🤔. Great video as always my friend.
If you live in the UK I think the oppo is the best choice out of the 3 you've listed because the oppo steals Samsung's beautiful display and had the snapdragon chip instead of exynos. You'll also get ip68 water resistance and wireless charging. Perfect middle ground compared to s22u and rdm8pro.
I got a Pixel 7 Pro today and the over processing of the pictures makes them awful, it feels like taking pictures with a webcam from 2010. I'm sending it back and ordered an Oppo Find X5 Pro. My previous phone was the Find X2 Pro and I was amazed how strong it is and how the pictures were fabulously detailed. A bit late for an answer but x)
Just noticed it's down to just over £500 on amazon. Currently have Huawei P30 Pro love it but battery is not what it was. Think the Oppo might be a good purchase??
If u wanna to review for gaming performance I suggest u to open all the map of Genshin Impact and play abyss for review since u havent open all the map u also dunno element u just at beginning so it sure smooth but for latest map maybe not. Also u can try play another Hoyoverse game Honkai Starrail to review and u will know the phone is over heat in the 1st 10 min.
If you have deep pockets or can find a mint used one then great. The rest of us have to live in the real world of the best mid range phones at sensible prices. If the X6 is due soon, it only makes sense to wait.
Don't take the screen protector off, you have more chance of finding a leprechaun drinking real ale in a working man's club. Then a suitable replacement.
I'm looking at the second-hand market for a flagship phone that is up there in terms of multimedia (camera, display and audio) and i cant decide between this and the Pixel 7 Pro. The Oppo is like £150 cheaper, and, on paper, it has everything going for it except Zoom, but of course, we know Pixels excel at software and not specs. Any suggestions on what to do?
I have been using oppo for around 5 months I don't know about pixel but this is an amazing phone with an excellent camera. You won't find many problems with this if you got this.Cherry on the top is 80W charger(which is included in the box). If you want proof for camera you can check Marquez Brownlee's smartphone camera awards 2022.
Bought the Pixel 7 pro last week but missed the fast charging that I used to have on my Huewei P30 pro so exchanged it for an Oppo x5 pro. So far so good.Battery life and fast charging has been fab..

@TechSpurt which one better to buy Honor Magic 4 Pro or Oppo Find X5 Pro?please reply & share ur opinion sir 🙏
Absolutely love my find X5 pro had the X5 then went pro just for the IP rating but the X5 just as good great phones I wouldn't go with Samsung again unless they bring propper fast charging out IE 0-100 in 20 mins or so another thing the battery life is outstanding on either the X5 or pro model shower shave and shit and it's fully charged love it 🤣🤣
Have you noticed any lag on the cameras with either the X5 or Pro? Namely low light is what I've read and heard is where there is some slow autofocus.
@@allankimuli1045 no haven't noticed on either of the phones so far
Im having the non pro model and the battery life for me is a bit crappy.. around 4 hours screen on time or so
I've been using find x5 pro and loving it great cammera
The non Pro model (Oppo X5) is selling for about £450.
I seen X5 pro for £500
I use it to the end 🤣🤣🤣. Greetings from switzerland 🇨🇭🇨🇭. Nice video
On the x5 pro I got only 4 hours
I bought this phone on your recommendation 6 months ago and don't regret it. It was far cheaper than even the small S22 on EE. The charging speed is brilliant and it's everyday performance is faultless. The camera can get some amazing shots too. It does get hot during even short stints at gaming tho
Switched to this around a month ago. It's an excellent device, more than a match for any other flagship.
How long will it be supported & updated?
I would only get one SH at a much lower price.
From where can I get those wallpapers
Please make a telegram channel for those wallpapers
I love the x5 and x5 pro. I sell them and get very positive reviews. Specifically from people that have had Huawei phonss
Agree with this, just bought a X5 coming from Mate 20 Pro (brilliant phone), not a lot between them but good to be on Android 13 and will 15 at some point. Would recommend.
@@jamesdavies3316 still on mate 20 pro as we speak, battery is giving up now though so looking to move on..
@@user-uq2dw7yg5n get a new battery my friend the phone still good. Unfortunately I broke the screen 😆🤦🏻♂️
Saludos, muy buenos videos, con gran calidad, pero necesito que alguien me diga donde puedo coneguir los fondos que utiliza. Por favor
Am looking for a bussines phone more of a backup phone of my S23 ultra when the battery dies...I am struggling to choose one from Oppo Find X5 Pro or the xiaomi 12t pro
Great video!
Just one question: which would you recommend the Oppo Find X5 Pro *_or_* Xiaomi 12 Pro?
How much of the Screen on time do you have?
Watching it from my X5 pro I just got on Amazon open box deals. What a great deal and phone.
How long does the screen on time last for you guys? Mine is like 4 hours with 120hz quadhd and 5g. Is that good?
No 😂
Love this phone, but didn't offer enough to make me move from a Find X3 Pro - the zoom is still pants. Roll on the Find X6 Pro and looking forward to your frank review when available 🙂
Went from x3 pro to this, this is way better in the hand. The weight and size are great. The x3 slid from my hands daily
Unfortunately if you already seen the news and where your from the find X6 only available in China and from what I seen on twitter by oppo UK their no plans on bringing it over to the UK or Europe anytime soon
@@webby2086 Why wont they bring it over here in the UK. I dont understand why not?
@@TheAlmorah your guess is as good as mine as I assume it might be due to the lawsuit with nokia as I know they been banned from selling their phones in other countries
I tried getting the find x5 pro from EE but when I went in found out they cancelled my order apparently they stopped selling them and by the looks of things o2 and Vodafone too but that cause it like like few years old now .. I assume there a reason behind it as sure it sold well outside China
Still worth buying in August 23?
Can get one for about £800!
Got my X5 pro for £400 2nd hand but was still brand new!
How are pictures and videos compared to the Xiaomi 12T Pro?
which one is better to choose? oppo find x5 pro or huawei p50 pro. for photography and for playing social media rarely for playing games
Considering getting this to replace my terrible Iphone 13, I've had nothing but issues with apples iphones being terrible. I mainly use the camera / video for social media etc. Would this be a great swap? Please note i am not wanting rubbish comments from apple fan boys, just honest answers
I need some advice I'm stuck between the oppo x5 pro and the xiaomi 12 t pro or anything
else apart from Google or Samsung
Are you ever going to review the X5 find lite?
I still got this phone in 2024 I have no plans to change still amazing phone
Would you choose the oppo 5 over the Sony 1 IV?
How many years of update support does the oppo get?
How are the photos compared to other flagships?
How does this compare to the regular version of the pixel 7? (not the pro) They're essentially same price and size. Particularly camera and video quality. Not sure which to go for
Thanks for choosing my next phone that ended up as a Pixel7 Pro, it was a close match between that and the Oppo.
Waiting for x6 pro to switch from 1+ 9 pro
Brand new unopened with delivery £509 eBay can't wait.
Does it come with a cover. I normally on spend £200 on Chinese phones 😬
I picked up one on special a couple of months ago and got a free Oppo tablet. Been very very happy with it.
which camera is better giogke pixel 7 or the find x5pro
You have great taste in music ;)
I love my X5 Pro.
How long will this get updates? Worth it for £400 used in pristine condition?
Ive got this phone and its quality. I want the oppo fold but its not out in the uk
Nice video, waiting for re-re-review now...
Where do you download your wallpapers from please tell
Where to get these wallpapers?
the app zedge has good wallpapers but im not 100% sure if thats where he gets his from, u can always search for hd phone wallpapers 👌
Is it better or oneplus 10 pro if same price for both?
This week oppo made a discount on this device so now in swiss costs 820 fr from 1200
Hi there, between oppo find x5 pro and pixel 7 pro, which one is better overall?
I got a Pixel 7 Pro today and the over processing of the pictures makes them awful, it feels like taking pictures with a webcam from 2010. I'm sending it back and ordered an Oppo Find X5 Pro. My previous phone was the Find X2 Pro and I was amazed how strong it is and how the pictures were fabulously detailed. A bit late for an answer but x)
Does this phone support e-sim?
Just noticed it's down to just over £500 on amazon. Currently have Huawei P30 Pro love it but battery is not what it was. Think the Oppo might be a good purchase??
Buy it from CEX, got it for £325
I've been debating picking one up from ebay, they've dropped in price recently. The 512GB models are super hard to find though. 😢
Have had this from launch good monthly prics deal and with the freebies was a no brainer
My phone ❤️
Superb reviews. Thank you..
The rest of us have to live in the real world of the best mid range phones
at sensible prices.
If the X6 is due soon, it only makes sense to wait.
Change the fingerprint and it will work better,I had that problem too...
Grazie per la tua recensione.... con gli cuffie grandi mi sembra guardiola 😅
Are you going to be getting the OnePlus 11 blower
Where can I purchase?
Don't take the screen protector off, you have more chance of finding a leprechaun drinking real ale in a working man's club. Then a suitable replacement.
Oppo find x6 pro is the only phone I'm waiting for 2023
Brother where did you get like this wallpaper
Nice you tell us about the price. Sometimes you don't. But I love your work, still.
Best android phone I ever used
I have this, had to get a brand new replacement after mobile data dropped out & said NO SIM, but all good now... I love this phone!
Is this phone available in Oman?
For some reason T-mobile Netherlands releases this phone from February the 15th.
Can I use the device in Nigeria?
Which one did you choose? Both good phones, but £150 cheaper... I bought the Oppo last week new for AU$770 (£405)...after rebates, it's awesome, better than my previous Huawei Mate 20 Pro which was a superb flagship too 🤩
@@mollydooka17 ended up getting the Oppo as well. Really happy with my choice.
Funnily enough one of my mates bought a pixel 7 at the same time as I bought this and he's been getting a few OS bugs. The only thing I miss is a better telephoto lens. Everything else is great.
I picked one up 2 weeks old for 350
I got the non pro
version the find x5, and tbh i am really happy with the phone
