Making a song inspired by midsommar really fits Red Velvet. I mean Red Velvet‘s two most used concepts are literally horror and summer… So they combined these two elements and made a colourful summer song with a creepy backstory. 🌷🧝🏻♀️🖤 The music video is so well made! All of the sets where they filmed are absolutely beautiful and the dresses they wore in the mv are looking beyond gorgeous. There are so many colours and flowers in the music video! It’s giving fairy vibes! 💐 The song sounds awesome as well. I’m obsessed with every part of it. Red Velvet never dissapoints!

레드벨벳만의 그 어떤 밝은데 음산한 그런 컨셉을 너무 명확하게 잡아가는 것 같다
거의 4분짜리 노래에 구성 꽉꽉 찬 노래가 이지리스닝이 만연한 시대엔 어려운 노래라 느껴질지 몰라도 이게 근본이라는걸 보여주는 레드벨벳..

after a new rv marathon that i just did ,cosmic adds so much to their discography also i noticed old groups used to have just performances videos as mvs or really simple ones rv is musical and visually interesting and new always trying something and mixing sound and image

sm 최근 신인도 많이 데뷔하고 다들 잘 되는 와중에 2-3세대 영향력도 계속되고 있어서 최근들어 진짜 실감하는 게 그룹색이란 거... 당장 컴백할 수 있는 현역으로 활동하는 팀들이 한 손에 다 못 꼽는데(샤이니 레벨 엔시티 에스파 라이즈 등등) 겹치는 게 하나도 없고 나올 때마다 “와 진짜 OO스럽다”라는 느낌이 드는 거, 성적이 눈에 띄게 폭발적으로 좋진 않더라도 일단 작업물들을 보면 공들였다, 작품이다 라는 느낌이 드는 게 진짜 신기하고 좋더라
