While I like representation, this just feel superficial and trying to be "edgy". I disagree with the mindless hate this series has been getting but i do agree that the attempts at diversity here doesn't feel genuine. I would even say that it wasn't needed in this show and it just resulted in unnecessary hate and now it's being removed.
Another thing to point out is the bad writing. The dialogue doesn't feel real and the actors do well to sell it but it still doesn't work.
This could have actual been a pivotal step in Pakistani cinema in terms of set design and cinematography but sadly is being taken down. While the shows has it flaws (both in terms of story and culturally) I wish the creators had that in mind before making this.
