Quadrantids meteor shower 2025 | How to watch in California

People in Northern California will get a chance to view that Quadrantid meteor shower, but only if they are up to either waking up early or staying up really late. The best time to view the first meteor shower of the year will be between 3 to 6 a.m. on Friday. Temperatures during that time will be in the 40s for the Sacramento Valley and cooler in the mountains.
