It never ceases to amaze me just how loving these dogs are after all they've been through. We don't deserve dogs and some people really don't deserve dogs. They should be charged with animal cruelty.
Once had a cruel neighbor put 8 kittens in one tiny cage outside 24/7 in heat and rain. I told them it was cruel to keep them in that cage. Finally after calling animal control the 100th time I threatened to call the newspaper and send pictures if they didn't come out and rescue them. They had been locked in that cage for 6 months! Here is Jasper County Missouri they refuse to uphold any laws that protect animals because I'm told they can't afford to enforce all Missouri laws, I was told that by my county commissioner!
I can't say what i think about the owners here. I'm just so mad it burns my soul. Thank you for saving them. Thank you to the people who called you. I hope this angels will find the most amazing homes. I know I'm going to have nightmares about that one.

I’m always running into people spouting stats about how these are the type of dogs involved in the most incidents harmful to humans or other animals, but these people never mention that they’re also the breeds most likely to be produced by unscrupulous “breeders”, sold waaay too young for quick cash, ill-socialized, taught to be aggressive, neglected, abandoned, and abused. These breeds don’t get the credit they deserve for so many of them shaking off so much trauma and becoming wonderful, gentle, loyal companions. I love bully breeds - they have my heart forever.
Stronger laws and punishments are needed and to be enforced for all animals, wild and domestic. You rescuers and volunteers must face the absolute horrors and vile crimes that humanity has committed, but you always stand so strong. You are warriors and heroes, an amazing force of compassion ❤
The one is sitting on the other so it doesn’t have to lay in pee and feces. People nauseate me. It never ceases to amaze me how these wonderful dogs can still show love to people after how they’ve been treated by disgusting humans. You not only saved their lives but have kept other dogs from coming into this world for fighting.

Look how good they are , they could of found homes for them but no they lock two medium sized dogs into a small cage that's not on lock these people up. Donna is just amazing with dogs, and I'm sure everybody else there contributes in their own way towards the welfare of these wonderful animals! I live half a country away but I'm sending a donation. Though I'd love to adopt these dogs, it'd make more sense to volunteer in my own city for a similar rescue organization, thanks to the inspiration of Stray Rescue St. Louis.

I live in Missouri and this makes my blood boil.. Something needs to be done .. I have called about neglected animals and puppy mills and I get told they don’t have the staff or funding to act on every call .. These are helpless living animals and they deserve the time and money to make sure they are safe we’ll cared for .. Bless you for helping these beautiful dogs

I hope the owners got turned into the police for animal cruelty, and the two dogs get the most wonderful furever home together with people who will make up for all that sadness with love and adoration for the rest of their lives. Most likely people are abusing them to make them mean or crazy so they can fight them. Absolutely evil people. There’s a special place in hell for them.
