That beat was so good. I just started watching recently and actually just bought a chroma console. This video made me want to get that digitak. I’ve been thinking about getting a drum machine but unsure which is the move. This may have helped me make up my mind on that
My Chroma console arrived on Thursday from the US, been playing with it all weekend. I patched in the Vongon replay and its a match made perfect, so much fun.
phew...im not one to get too excited about outboard effects.. but ever since i heard the capability of these; i may have to dive in. i own a digitakt and its great to hear it worked through the microcosm & chroma. gorgeous devices.
I'd love to do this same thing, using my 1010music Blackbox. The only problem is, I only have a Microcosm, and a Blackbox. I am using a Zoia as well tho. I can make it do some pretty crazy stuff.
Great video I have the microcosm but I’m a bit confused over which patch to use for best results on pads or an arp or a sequence This video told me to use drums with Tunnel and I got desired results. Anyone has any tips on what works best with which preset. Highly appreciate ❤any inputs 🙏🙏
Finally getting my head around microcosm. Make sure that if you’re using it on synths to make sure you change the config to stereo and levels to line. Space (reverb and delay) can make things too much for me. So turn that down or off while you get used to the efx. Activity and Repeats are the two you got to keep your eye on. Activity is the density and repeats is how much. I like tunnel, haze, arp and seq for drums. I’ve been going through every preset with a drum machine and routing the kick independently from the mix in the cosm. Finally get some amazing results. Haven’t really tried it yet on synths and keys and I’m thinking I’ll get the console for that but I’ll probably end up using them on drums too! Haha! Or maybe I’ll reamp it. Microcosm on drums are a match made in heaven. I just need an overdrive dirty pedal to make it pop
@@wakinglife7065 thanks for the inputs. Microcosm is unique. One day it does so much and yet it gives an impression that it’s repetitive with most presets. 🤪🤪 The response to changes with each parameter is never in ur face yet the changes can be dramatic. The microcosm is like a wife You never know the reaction 🤪🤪🤪 Ooops apologies 😀😀

Why is clocking on Microscosm so unreliable? Its been terrible with Ableton. Its a lucky dip if it starts in time with any clock. I have a Digitakt and it no better. Was there ever recent a firmware update for the Microcosm?
I have a high quality midi system with short cables, I think my unit is faulty. I’ve seen so many other complaints about this over on Elektronauts. It might start in time, but often doesn’t and sounds like an absolutely jumbled mess, which is fixed with a stop start.
@@8bitBarry1 are you talking about the MIDI clock drifting, or are you talking about loops drifting in relation to external tempo? If the latter, it should be pointed out that Microcosm does not record quantized loops, so if that's what's drifting out of time, then that is to be expected. in any case, if you think your pedal is faulty you can get in touch with our support team very easily/quickly here: www.hologramelectronics.com/support
probably your best demo btw - hire this guy for more
'whatever the hell that is' This man gets it, lol
Wow, kudos for the demo, it's awesome !
Two of my desert island pedals. They go so deep they make the Mariana trench seem shallow.
Such straight forward loop can be changed into another dimension by turning few knobs... Love it!
OMG im just in love with this company and their products...its that even possible? It sounds so amazing! Perfect combo

digitakt is essentially a drum machine on steroids, capable of doing a lot more than a standard drum machine for sure
Got my eyes on that console.
I can't wait to try these. I love running the Drumbrute Impact through the Chroma Console. The FM drum especially loves it.

DANG this is a bop if I've ever heard one

really helpful and useful demo -- tx!
Always wanted a hardware version of Sugar Bytes Turnado and this combo looks to be pretty damn close.

Great! Any chance to buy the Chroma Console in Germany without having to import it..?
When is the Chroma Console be back in Thomann inventory in Europe?

Are you using timecode via a midi setup? I don’t know if I missed that part of the setup in the video. Is that explained?
The Digtakt (drum machine here) is providing the clock for both devices.
@@HologramElectronics i'm assuming via a midi connection? Or is it USB?

This much sauce should be banned. ILLEGAL😢🥳

Maybe you’re doing something wrong, literally 0 issues with either of those for me
