Personally think next arc should be peak as well get some fire situations coming to the end. Don’t think any straw hats will ever 💀 though. This is a happy story and will have happy ending.
Fun Fact: Kid Kumas Voice Actor is also the one that voices Characters like Bakugo. This dude has some RANGE i tell you that 20 second Performance was Bone Chilling to the Max
Shouldn't be surprised he did Himmel voice too and believe it or know Himmel was the reason he got casted as Kuma by Oda personally and he did that crying scene for over a week that's why you can feel the emotions

He then starts eating metal and use his power to make toys using an alloy created from those metal he ate called the Wapometal. Turns out that alloy is really durable and light so he became really rich and marry into royalty in another country and calls it the Black Drum Kingdom. Franky ended up using this Wapometal for a lot of his invention post time skip because it's just that good
So let's just say, Im a sucker for good flashbacks and that scene alone brought all the trauma back and had me in tears. And it's just a taste of the backstory even.

Robin crying for her mom in the original animation of her flashback is burned into my soul. I can already tell that, if we see more of this, Kid Kuma crying is going to do the exact same thing. And Kid Kuma is the same voice actor as Bakugo, Genya, and Himmel.

How i saw the situation with Morgans is that he's looking for a good pay-day from the government by pinning the possible death of Vegapunk on the Straw Hats lol. Since he reported that the Straw Hats have Vegapunk hostage and then if he dies then the world would naturally assume they killed him and not the government
I think what Morgans means when he says he won't let the WG manipulate information. I read it as. No one else does that except me, I decide how to manipulate the information.
If they keep following the same pattern with episodes and chapters, there will be a bit of time before they actually go into the Kuma backstory. As for whether it's particularly emotional or not, just keep in mind that this is One Piece and it's a backstory.
