- Dr. Kancha Ilaiah an Indian political theorist, writer, and activist for Dalit rights. He is the Director of Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. His contributions includes as the member of the National Research Committee constituted by the Ministry of Social Justice, member of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), member of the Planning Commission Sub Committee to formulate an agenda for land reforms for the XI Five Year Plan, member of the UGC Constitutional Committee to oversee the implementation of OBC reservations in all Central and State universities in India, former member of Executive Council of Periyar Maniammai University (Tamil Nadu) and former member of the National Book Trust, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
Dr. Suraj Yengde is an award-winning scholar and activist from India. He is an inaugural post-doctoral fellow at the Initiative for Institutional Anti-racism and Accountability, Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Suraj is India’s first Dalit Ph.D. holder from an African university (University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg) in the nation’s history.

All shudra people in my village studied in Marathi Medium school and got stuck in 10th standard... Failed in only English...34/33/31 marks.... Each and everyone. Atrempted minimum twice max six times to pass just english, as far as I know.
What a missery for such people.
They have reservation but strategically they where kept behind, cannot even get qualified to get reservation facilities.
Yes the uppercaste marathis studies in convent english medium school and force obc sc st to study in marathi medium school saying that if they study in english medium then there culture will die. It is obc sc st fault that they fall for uppercaste propaganda

Very very enlightening talk this must be heard not only by Dalits and OBC Communities but all of the population all over the world . This educates all of the people how a minority oppressed majority community for centuries by classifying them as untouchables and children of lesser God! By Depriving them of Education , economical independence and Social Status. I agree India has to be Dalistan and Dalits and backward communities can not be used for tokenism of political parties and for votes!
Sir I have read all the books written by prof Kancha illeiha.. recently I read which is God as a political philosopher, book has been talking about the birth of democray and republic concept from Sangha system of Buddha. How khatiyas becomes Kshatriya, I wondered after reading this book how bhramin moulds things as per his requirement to maintain his hegemony in the society. Jai Bheem to both of you..

1st comment : loved to see kanche ilaiah and suraj together . the first time i saw suraj in an india today discussion , i thought he is actually a personification of ilaiah's educated and intellectual from the dalit bahujan class . of course there are many personalities alligning witth ilaiah but suraj is the exact replica of kancha's ' dream ambedkarite '.
Thanks to Suraj and great scholar Mr kancha iliaha to share hidden brutal truths of Brahmanism. This is a platform where they are talking about OBC/SC/ST people, their culture, traditional but those people are still unaware, as their is no one to comment till today, after a long period.. I think the time will come after 20-30 years when Sudra scholars will find such videos valuable....

Thank you for video. Here we are seeing both "Ambedkarite Intellectual".
Just I have small question : In mopdern India "Sex is a stigma and taboo". How the "Sexual Revolution and Liberation" going to happen. On this Kancha Illaiah gave some insights to listeners but we need more insights for sexual revolution.
We are loosing so many people because of love with sex. Most of the youth stopping here, they are not coming out of this. How to people overcome from this.
Its a very good interview and its surprising that there are no comments. Dr Kanchiah is a very learned man and also the interviewer is excellent. I am just curious to know about the hair style of the interviewer, is it a fashion or is it symbolic.

Buddhist scientific Philosophy is the only source to Ambedkarite overcome from the clutch of caste system of Hindu religion. Bahujan movement in India is itself divided into so many castes and unable to unite under the title of Bahujan. Most of the claiming Higher castes claims as Bahujan are attached to Hindu religion and claiming Hindu are indirectly favoring to Brahmans on the word of Hindu. this is the ignorance of Bahujan's large community. Ambedkaraite Revolution is not the Bahujan revolution which is part of the Hindu religion and no independent identity as Bahujan is an independent sect from the Hindu religion. Thus Ambedkaraite revolution has the base of Buddha's scientific revolution. Claiming Ambedkaraite should not merge the Ambedkaraite revolution in Bahujan revolution if that did then Ambedkaraite revolution will merge in Hindu religion which is really a Brahmanic religion.
