This test was performed by an independent third party to compare vehicles that directly compete with each other in terms of size and options. The Outback is a larger vehicle and thus was not included. Not fair to compare to these, however we would love to see a similar video comparing the Outback to the competition!
The XC70 is a bit longer vehicle, more like a wagon. It would compete more with the Subaru Outback in this type of test so it wasn't included. However, if this independent company ever does another that compares newer models or the Outback and it's competition, I would love to see the XC70 in the competition!
This is why I never have been influenced by brand commercials! They all talk how fabulous they are but when the rubber meets the road….they’re just crap. Viva Subaru I know others that have traded their crv or rav4 for a Subaru.
0:38 nice edit. at least 2 runs edited together to make it look like 1st run look like the crv failed. 2nd view of that 1st the crv rotated nicely cutting that scene short before it misses all the cones.
@@cuddlemuffin.9545 I'm never in that much of a rush and I don't speed. I leave the house early and drive the speed limit. I don't understand why so many Americans speed and are always in a rush to get everywhere. I'll get there when I get there.
yeah, this is BS, my 2016 forester is like a hog on ice on slick roads, not much better on dry ones, its the worst vehicle I ever owned, would not buy another, and yeah told the dealer, they said every thing was working and I had it set to the right positions, its a dangerous vehicle
That's SUV for you. I owned a single SUV before going back to sedan/wagon. My grand Vitara was the worst car I've ever used on slippery winter roads, and my Subaru levorg the best I've used on winter roads. You bought a tall and short SUV. Natural stability in that chassis will not be great, levorg, wrx, legacy, Impreza is in another world when it comes to road performance. Forester is closer to a off-road vehicle
Best not to go into the northern regions…Vermont, Maine etc. that’s all they drive are Subarus. Your comment is more subjective then objective. I’ve seen outback’s and foresters just plow through most wintery mixes while other brands are slip sliding away……..
@@martinr8278 I grew up in the north, driving on slick roads was a must, I had a 1996 dodge grand caravan was a much better handling machine then the Forester, I give it this the full time 4WD will go, but, it is a mean driving machine on slick roads, even drive roads, I had a 4WD F150 it would go good in snow and most places, and out drove the Forester 2 to 1 and F150's are noted for not driving that great, any way I don't like it, but I will say this about it, it runs on fumes, cheap on gas.
@@randybird9979 that is your experience. Everyone has their favorite and subjective brand, I’m sure there would be somebody else who would say that Toyota would also blow your Dodge out of the water, and you also have Honda owners that would tell you they do better than your Ford. Everybody does enjoy what they drive mostly. That has not been my experience actually and I do own a 2016 Forester. We got hit with a lot of snow and ice Christmas Eve of all days, 2020. Needed to head east through Ohio for Christmas Day gathering I delayed, because it was the worst. I’ve seen it in years up here, but then decided to go ahead and just head out see what would happen. I couldn’t believe the amount of vehicles off the side of the road, very appreciative and thank God my Subaru handled well never lost traction and I don’t have X mode. The main thing is also the driver, you look at most RUclips videos, and people have problems with them, but they never service. It all comes down on driving style, taking care of your car, having good tires, like I said, not anything that I have experienced.
i've owned 2 subarus. they are beautiful machines. and affordable.
Subaru hands down has the best AWD system you can get without spending a fortune

Bachman Auto Group do it over
crv's 4wd feels like a placebo effect. its power is mostly directed to the front.

i think the tires should be same same on each vehicle also to compare them to get better result. By the way CRV was a nice edited.
Notice you didn't show an Outback in this test. Consumer Reports has said the Outback was sluggish in this kind of avoidance/maneuvering testing.
I love my Subaru!!
Why would you drive that fast going around a turn though?
Why not?
@@chriscs9080 Because it's dangerous.
Maybe youre in a rush also most turns arent that sharp

Subaru was driving slower than other cars shown. 🤦♂️
But why Subaru unable to beat Sebastian Loeb Citroen at wrc??
the driver is key in racing too
look how much wins have subaru and citroen on WRC
Subaru Forester is Fressshhh
So a outback vs a Volvo XC70 and that's it for the list
,Deception at it best hear how they added audio... and half the road is wet and the other is not for some cars
ultimately they wants to tell that
subaro is better then other vehicles
crv not bad
publicidad engañosa.
🤣🤣 how
Lol of course coz in reality, u have to slow
Down.
