Making adjustable levers. Quadra V-Tech from Cyberpunk 2077. Part 23

- It's a pleasure to welcome you all in the New Year in the new part of assembling the car from Cyberpunk 2077! In the previous part we prepared almost all the elements of the interior from fiberglass. Next on course is to whip into shape the car suspension by changing its geometry and removing the negative wheel camber. For this purpose I'm going to make custom adjustable levers for both front suspension and the rear one.

This is still the most interesting build series I’ve seen in a long time.
Absolutely agree, been keeping up with it since the start
You've missed the guy building a GT40 from scratch in his garage
Or the crazy english man making V8 engin in his kitchen
@@Bazuzeus I’ve seen that as well, but I just find this more interesting because it’s never really been done before.
You might want to reinforce those welts just to be sure nothing is going to snap as soon as you hit a bump in the road.
Gussets. Always use gussets.
@@CMeier213yes!
God those rear wheels look so sick Im so excited to see this thing move around
Car builds for scifi series are always the best, its rare to see someone making it instead of just doing a body kit and calling it a day
Those plates on the front wheel, you have an "open" sliding mechanism to change the angle but it shouldn't be "open", it should be a "closed" plate, the reason is if the bolts become too lose during driving on a right or left hand turn or on a bad or uneven surface the assembly on either side can slide out and cause damage. If it's a closed plate then there's no possibility of the plates separating from one another and no lasting damages. The "open" that I'm referring to is the two long open ovals that you thread your bolts through for the two plates. that bottom plate needs to be bigger with a closed end to prevent future damages. I'm referring to the time @8:48 where you see the plate on bottom of the painted plate, the bottom one needs to be replaced or made differently.
I thought that but you can see when it’s painted good near the end of the video he has closed it at what was the open end
He had mentioned tack welds
@@KenzertYT look at @5:18 it's that plate that has an open end to the bolts, it has nothing to do with tack welds, that open end during any hard turn, uneven surface, pot whole, or bump in the road can separate during the operation of the vehicle. That's what I meant. It needs to be closed ended and probably with a bigger bolt, the entire assembly is being held by bolts that don't even lock, it's a dangerous assembly.
@@ThyerHazard Good call mate. Much appreciated on the correction.
Why would you put a double wheel on a car? That makes it harder to change the tires and just adds extra weight for no reason. why not just put a regular rear tire setup on it?
I noticed that your rear wheels are touching, you're eventually going to want to put space between the tires so they don't rub and generate friction. This friction most likely will cause the tires to blow out while driving for long periods of time.
The rims are welded together as shown in an earlier video, there should be no friction between them they move as one unit
@AF but the friction is a out compression. The weight of the car presses down, and the side walls will bulge from the weight. That's where the friction comes from. There will also be friction from the tires sliding when making corners as the tires deform from horizontal forces and traction grip. It's why dually trucks have a gap between them. It may not be too much of an issue depending upon how often the car is driven, but it would be good to inspect the side wall rub after prolonged driving.
@@mattmcdowell8084 Very correct. I think the plan is (I haven't seen him say this and I haven't watched all the videos) is to get a pair of wide tires, one for each side. This might have just been to test how level such a tire would sit with the car's weight. I don't think he intends to drive the car with these tires.
People say that cars from Cyberpunk 2077 are gonna be available in the year 2077.
I want cars like that everywhere!
Genius!!!!!
Just found out about this project yesterday, definitely binged watched the whole series thus far though.
I love this. You're a legend, mate.
Dude I love your videos can’t wait to see this thing on the road
👍👍
Insane mechanic skill :D I can't imagine what you can do with the cars :D
These control arms are *ABSOLUTELY HARAM*. Good enough for a car that lives on a trailer and can roll around on a show floor, but if that thing ever hits the road, those arms will go "snap, crackle, pop" and you'll become a torpedo headed into the adjacent lane, into incoming traffic, or into a ditch.
I applaud your dedication for this project.
Bro, seeing those tires sitting leveled on the ground is amazing.
Awesome work! Make sure welds and places of stress are reinforced so they will not fail during driving operation. I cannot wait to see the finished build.
I was told dually wheels were separated with a gap for a few reasons. One gravel can get caught between them causing a tire failure. Two, as the individual tires flex with weight they could rub up against each other beside to contact patch and wear each other or pickup debris with the same result. Three the wheels flex laterally in turns and again rub and lead to failure. Four low air pressure or squatting from high loads tires touch and rub. Even though the tires are spinning the same rate its the additional heat buildup that from the side wall flex transitioning from contact patch to rebound over and over creates the detrimental heat build up with tires that touch.
Awesome work! I can't wait for the final results. Your skills are unbelievable.
Amazing project- that is for sure. But camerawork is also brilliant. Thanks for sharing. Have a good fun :)
Im always so excited when this project pops up in my feed!
Amazing as always. those new macro shots are great!
I was glad to hear you talk about welding the front adjustment. Those four bolts will not hold their place reliably. This is my favorite build to watch.
👍👍👍
My god, it would be an honor for me if I would ever get a chance to sit it in and appreciate your hardwork and creation.
I love this project a little more every episode!
Dang this Quadra is looking good so far can't wait for the next video
I am loving this build! Keep the videos coming man!!! 🤙🏼💯🇨🇦✌🏼
So many new camera angles, great work on the project !
absolutely amazing work brother !
You can't stop a man who's inspired and motivated.
I can't wait to see the total finished product. it's gonna be awesome to see. love the videos please keep up the awesome work. = )
Looking so nice🔥🔥🔥🔥
You are amazing talent, skills , I can't wait for the final 🔥🔥🔥
most exciting build on RUclips
This build is SICK
Waiting for the next part. This is so good to watch.
AMAZING BUILD!
Great job!! Very Impressive!!
Good job
It's 2am, RUclips recommended this but I watched every second. Fantastic solutions 👌
Dude you’re an absolute genius
I have a feeling you are going to be famous after finishing this car
Amazing final result !! Love frome France !!!
I watch this series just to see how this thing works. Loving your work.
👍👍
Incredible bro keep working like that
dog you are a damn efficient fabricator, you have my respect
After you finish this project you should make Kanedas bike. Imagine a Quadra as your daily driver and Kanedas bike as a weekend cruiser 😂
Awesome work
I would have put ridges in the slotted ball joint assembly to keep it from it from getting knocked out of alignment.
Being a trained mechanic myself, normally when you can't losen a nut or bolt with normal force, before even consider to start
applying that amount of torque to try losen it, i always try clearning the area with a steelbrush and apply some rust solvant spray
and let is soak then re-apply at least a few times .
If you had done this, you would've seen the weld. Lesson learned for any future nut/bolt that's stuck.
Best build on RUclips, I like your series, pure skills, talent and knowledge of fabrication process
Check out @MACROMACHINES yt channel. 18 year old kid fabricated and hand built a vintage v8 roadster from scratch and documents the entire build, something like 50+ videos. Makes this guy look like a chump.
awesome please continue working on this cant wait for next video
You are going to be coolest kid in the vlock driving this
Sweet this is looking awesome I like how your painting it as you go
When this car is done, it's going to be legendary
Great work you made a dream come true ❤
Lookin amazin!
Great job on the rear camber btw. lmao drove me nuts
BAM, been waiting for this! Bring it!
I can't wait for the next part
Very nice 👌 👍 👏
Precision engineering!
Good work choom !
You're an automotive wizard. Preem work choom.
Good job
Nunca fiquei tão ansioso por um projeto igual a este !!
Espero que ele consiga terminar, vai ser maravilhoso ver esse projeto pronto.
O Cara merece demais, esforco puro.
Tôi thấy dự án này hay mà
perfect you earned my thumbs up
literally so good
i'm soo Exited to see Quadra Really run on its own power you should make you own car Company
Nice build man!
I just started watching your videos this weekend and now ive finally seen all parts of the quadra series. Im glad you fixed that camber, since I really thought it looked stupid before. Especially on the rear Axle it looked like the axle was bendung under the weight of the vehicle.
Anyways im exited for every new update you're gonna post!
👍👍
I think it’s safe to say that this is the first ever dually “car”
Excellent!!
Thank you human. Very informative. Shutting down.
I need to rewatch this
Great job. Please release a video at least once per week :)
This guy sees things that ordinary people do not. That's kinda sick.
GJ amazing keep it up
Dude, I can't wait to see this machine tearing up the streets!!!🔥
Please give it a powerful engine >o
mid engine 4 rotor 1700hp.. thats the dream power plant for this thing.
I like where this is going.
Very nicee!
This is the awesomest car ever! just use a ball joint eliminator kit tighten up that steering all the way while making a much safer reliable vehicle. And never need to replace ball joints again. 😃 Add Gussets to A arm welds.
6:32 that's a pretty nice weld dude
This build is underrated, it deserves more views.
This is going be a sweet ride when it's done wish I company can make a kit car
Very kool. Not going to lie and yea I hated the rear camber as well.. huge improvement
hopefully people from CD Projekt red will also be watching
i like how the last like 30 seconds is all most people watch this for
awesome
"Hello I'd like an alignment"
*Mechanic gets out the angle grinder*
I absolutely love this but i would never entrust my life with this car
The engine of the Quadra Turbo R is placed in the back, so you probably might have to come up with a reg to make the vehicle drivable with the engine in the back.
dunno if I'd drive that over 60 but I'll watch you do it.
imagine this thing on a heavy duty dually truck frame with a duramax in it. would be an absolute rocket 😆
I love these videos. I'll be sad when this series is over. I would love to see you recreate the vehicle from the movie "THE WRAITH". It's called the Turbo Interceptor.
It'll be a long time until this thing is done, but a long time well spent
You deserve more subs
honestly he does
Craaaazy!
You did a great job fabricating those parts but just a heads up, when dealing with bushings always tight the bolts with the lead of the vehicle, otherwise they gonna strip, you can do this by placing the vehicle in some ramps
I'd like to have V's car. Hella is such a nice looking car
It's crazy to me that homie just dropped a tutorial on how to fabricate a custom suspension kit with no warning
Dude probably put more work into this thing than CDPR did into the actual game.
Badass
finally!!😁👌
It'll be 2077 by the time it's finished
