he looks so fragile. I literally cried. He was definitely not okay and it was visible. Didn't complete some steps and was dizzy but he ffor sure tried his best and I'm so proud of him. Glad he took a break and is better now!
One of the worst times, really. The way pledis not only overworked them till collapsing from sickness & injuries but commoditied their pain, for sales. Pledis surprising us with #HIT_THE_ROAD where they capitalized on SVT members overworking & sickness in 2019-2020 from their grueling schedules // pitching between events while touring // flying between continents in days on end. Shows like this are actually really good at deceiving the impressionable young fans.. it's really scary, especially since viewers are convinced these are real unfiltered portrayal when it's just as scripted and manipulated like any other fiction tv show. Putting cameras to their faces in their most painful & vulnerable moments.. Dehumanizing in the name of "authenticity" & entertainment. Orchestrating behind the scenes "reality" shows to brainwash fans into conflating their idols' mistreatment or mismanagement for "hardwork", "gratitude" & "love" .! Romanticizing the struggle & the inhumane working conditions Proposing the flawed & false belief that idols "choose" to keep working despite being exhausted or sick as a "free-will" choice, not there are paycheck consequences // bound by contractual obligations // or simply emotional obligation plays into pushing their limits for the toxic working culture & the viciously competitive industry. In return, fans should pay back this PAINFUL gratitude with equally distressing LOYALTY in form of investing more of their time & money... Buying, streaming, voting... Emotional manipulation at its finest! 👌✨
