German viewer here. I‘ve been on this beach during a road trip around Florida in 2015. I so much envy you regarding the weather. That sky is amazing. Looks so good on a 4k TV. Love this. Germany now has mixed April weather with overcast, snow, rain and sun. Temps only at around 10C (50F). 😔

I just discovered your channel and this is the first one that popped up. We just drove this last Saturday driving back to Michigan we decided to take a 1a as far as we could. We have stayed at the tides in in Lauderdale by the Sea I love it there. Going to be 70 next year and I always thought I would live here but I guess I’m not ever going to fulfill that dream. I am satisfied at least I get to go down and spend several months in Florida. Thank you for this video it is fabulous.
There is nothing wrong with coming here for the eight reasons. It's nice bc there is so much variety to the geography, weather, and people. Florida and Alaska may as well be two different countries. Or Maine and Arizona

You should of walked South to Jetty; round trip 2.3 miles if you time it perfect you can get cruise ships. Plus Points of America is a great spot. Happy walking.
I'm going to choose fort Lauderdale as my favorite place on earth and going to buy the biggest mansion with my wife and buy many cool cars along with it and whatever my wife wants
It all depends on where you go. Miami, especially South Beach is very shallow with young people who are there to be seen or scammers trying to get your money. If you go away from touristy spots, the people tend to be more open. It helps if you speak a lil bit of Spanish since there are many people who are originally from Cuba, Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic. I stopped going to Miami years ago and Fort Lauderdale, especially Lauderdale by the Sea is beautiful with chill people. If you come not during season it is less crowded and you get to met nice people. If you travel to Ft. Myers/Cape Coral it gets even better. Beautiful landscape with nice people and you get the experience you deserve. Book a Airbnb stay so you save yourself the resort fee. Yes, it is not presented before you book but if you stay at a hotel and when checking out, this resort fee will turn your vacation into a nightmare - can be up to 50 $/day depending on where you stay at.
The walk on the beach with the sound of the waves is very relaxing. But what strikes me is that people don't swim, they just bathe. I've noticed the same in coastal California. So what is it, most Americans don't know how to swim ?
