Thank you for making this. Just like the ending you speak volumes for many women. I was assaulted as a teen. I blamed myself for drinking but was ultimately taken advantage of. The need to speak out was silenced by addictive parents and a misogynistic community. I had to pause after the rape scenes because it hit too close to home. To link rape and gun violence is true to our times. I'm sure and hope you get a lot of words like this, praising you for bringing the issues to life. Im aware you are an actress and a lot of people went into creating this piece of art. You chose a daring script that some might shy from. Thank you for your bravery
This is a fantastic movie. I was abused in every way possible by ex for 16.5 years. It has been over for more than 2 years and the trauma that lives in my body I can't even put into words but this movie says so many things and feelings that I can't say. I'm truly grateful for this movie and will definitely watch it again.
