Spider-Man, AKA, Peter Parker Transforms Mr Fantastic from the Fantastic Court, Into Web Fluid. That's right, Spider-Man did the unthinkable, just think about those "How to create Spider-Man web fluid", but a more more extreme version. Mr Fantastic won't know what's coming to him, it's insane!

Venom was such a real homie in this story.
Yeah it was trying to save eddie but just couldn't and didn't want to go through that again with peter which is why it refuses.

There is a lot of historys where Venom wants eddie to keep living , even afterhis lifetime.
There's is stories where symbiote try to keep Eddie alive long as possible to the point Eddie's body start to fall apart so symbiote replace it with ts own but he replace so many even by brain that Eddie's anything remaining memories is him seeing venom different kinds in his past memory.

They just REALLY LOVE capitalism.
Here's the things about this story. Peter already acts like Gwen is still alive. Reed broke his illusion, and now he became his web-fluid. Who's to say that Peter isn't just hallucinating that everything got better? The zombies aren't cured, there was never a chance to cure them, but now they don't fall apart. Now this lonely Spider-Man's can play with his patchwork dolls in his patchwork playhouse forever.
Damn, that's pretty dark.

@@w1ndgeneral226 Chthon is an elder god who made a book called Darkhold that has all his super evil spells and knowledge n stuff in it. At one point, Scarlet Witch had a bunch of heros read stories of twisted versions of themselves to make their minds more resistant to the Darkholds corrupting insanity, and Spider Man read a story of a universe where Chthon cast a spell called The Unraveling on it. On the bright side, the spell specifically makes everything fall apart while retaining conciousness, so after being Reed-Webbed, everything really is alright. On the bad side, even Reed wasnt invincible and began to deteriorate after a while, and because of how powerful the magic was, there was no chance of reversing the spell

Venom has been a full hero for a long time now, making friends with heroes like the Avengers, making his peace with Spiderman, saving countless live and the universe itself and is trying to be a good father.

He's not "survive" either. The unraveling also affect him. See, the unraveling isn't just make people and building "unravelled" but keep them in a loop of same action over and over again.
This Peter is already affected by it the most. He's gone crazy and stuck in a loop where everyday is his anniversary and he must get the vinegar. Except that Gwen is already long gone and have become a skeleton.

For people interested in this comic, this is a Darkhold storyline where selected heroes got corrupted from reading the Darkhold book. Two i recall was Hank Pym's wife attacking Hank for being abusive and Black Bolt's Among Us moment where he doesnt known if he is the real Black Bolt due to his brother's manipulation.
Tell me more about the Hank Pym darkhold.

Honestly, I think this is a pretty interesting dark take on Spider-Man. He’s still in character, but it’s clear that the stress put on him drove Peter to insanity.
His city was falling apart and the only thing holding it together was his web fluid. Those will dissolve after a few hours, so for the last few weeks, Peter hasn’t gotten any decent sleep and I’m constantly dealing with the horrors that come with his new found responsibilities. And on top of all of that his wife is dead.
Eventually Peter’s grip on reality and decency broke

Venom's a good dude in this, he tried to save Eddie but nothing was working and instead of saving his own life by bonding with Peter, he'd rather die with the guy he cared about the most
bruh, 85% of this video was wrong, venom didn't kill eddie, eddie was also falling apart from the unraveling and venom was just barely keeping eddie together, venom didn't go with parker because he didn't want to leave his home and more importantly his friend. heck parker isn't even the one who suggested capturing venom, nor did he ask for the sonic gun, that was all reed trying to sacrifice venom and others with stretchy powers to save himself. also the unraveling didn't cause zombies nor was it a virus, it was a universe wide phenomena that destableized everything atomic structure. the "zombies" were just people whos mind had unravelled. seriously this comic deserves more than to be rewritten into f tier fan fic
If you’re wondering why, Mr. fantastic becomes all gooey. It’s because it helps him concentrate better, on finding a cure.

What sucks is people is saying Reed deserves that, but he apologized. Plus the man’s family is dead and he’s the only one trying to fix everything
One scene I feel in this comic no one talks about is how Dr. Octopus asks Spider-Man not to laugh and Spider-Man promises that he won’t.
It’s heartwarming and heart wrenching because it shows how kind he and that Dr. Otto doesn’t know what else to do with his life that even while everything’s unraveling his only purpose is to fight Spider-Man.
As I said, both Heart Warming and Wrenching.

For referance to those who don't know, Peter is effected by whats causing the city to fall apart, one of the symptoms is being stuck in a memory cycle, we're you relive an event over and over, for peter this is his date night with Gwen, despite her being alive this effect causes him to believe she's alive and constantly replayed that he has a date with her.
It makes you wonder if the writers just get a kick at making Peter and Spider-Man’s life suck.

When some guy breaks to fight you to get a job but you never gave the job:
I know it's also in the mainstream comic stories as well, but the Venom synbiote genuinely loving Eddie here ("he was not my host, he was my home") is one of those things that, as a 90s kid growing up to see multiple malevolent media depictions of Venom, still gets to me right in the heart.
Venom and Brock were basically Peter's bitter ex-girlfriend and toxic rival who let their shared hate go and ended up a devoted married couple (with a son named Dylan, no less!). It's kinda romantic.
The most deadly as villain in the m c u is a Mosquito, if you think about it, the fat tiger's super heroes, and the In fact, how mosquitoes suck a blood means it is unstoppable.
I mean... it's already a miracle that Spidey-616 did NOT already turned to such extremes...
At this point he might just become the next Deadpool and goes off to kill the writers

Where did the zombie virus come from why are Peter and reed unaffected where are the other heroes is this affecting the whole world why did Spider-Man use reed to Web up buildings Were the buildings falling apart to? also can the people take off their clothes if they have the Mr. fantastic webbing over their bodies how does that cure them of being zombies in the first place could they really not have just stitched their body parts back on is no one bothered by the fact they are wearing a person what caused the zombie virus in the first place
This chucklenuts told the story in a way that makes no sense. The "unraveling" is a universe-wide event in this comic: only those with abilities like healing factors were spared. Buildings were falling apart and people were coming apart mentally and physically. Venom didn't consume Eddie: it did its utmost to save him while Eddie was unraveling. Peter wasn't the one who was insistent on capturing Venom: that was Reed, who was trying to sacrifice anyone other than himself. If Reed had fallen on his sword at the start, countless people could have been saved but he refused to believe that anyone other than him could be smart enough to save the world.
The Darkhold comics aren't the best but they're meant to be powerful in the moment. However, they lose even that impact if the person trying to impart the story gets nearly everything wrong.
