👋 Goodbye Connor!
Connor spent his time at Sussex campaigning for affordable housing, race equality and climate justice. He co-founded the Climate Action group in his second year and coordinated the Rent Strike Now network in 2020, which won 100s of millions back for students in halls.
This year, Connor’s work has included taking students to Glasgow for the UN’s COP26 climate negotiations, launching a new campaign aimed at making the Careers Centre at Sussex fossil free, and pushing the university to adopt an affordable housing policy that keeps Sussex housing accessible to all.
“As we come out of Covid-19, it’s up to students and young people to reshape a greener, fairer and more just society”.
