    I use the Snugpack Endurance 40 and love it. I was surprised though to not see a Sawyer Mini or Squeeze in your pack though!

    I have a Kelty Redwing 50 and Yukon 50. That one looks like a great pack, also, but my wife would kill me if I brought home another pack. Ya gotta love our humidity here in the south! LOL!

    I'll have to look into that, been looking for a good bag. was looking at some of the other kelty's this seems about the right size for what I would need it for. And seriously, it is surprising how much stuff you packed in there.

      There is a cheaper model of Kelty called a Redwing that has more of a lighter weight material and it's a good pack. I'll try to put a link on the description box shortly for it

      Those are the other ones I've been look at. Ive seen a few reviews for it and recognized you using it in one of your other videos. The design set up on this seems a little different. Ill go back and look again. Thanks!

    Great video. Ordered mine yesterday. I thank you for making the time to make all your videos! PS: Where did you get that Vintage or Depressed cap you are wearing? Thanks!

    I have a pack right now that has a little pouch attached to the front of a larger pouch and I've found that I absolutely hate that because I find that I can't put anything into the larger pouch because then it makes the little pouch almost unusable. But maybe it's not like that with this pouch. The overall pack looks great, though.

      Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I have packs like that too. This one expands out. So you have all the room that was intended.

    hey brother, how are ya? glad to have found this video. There are so many bug out videos but it's nice to find this one and seeing you keep it simple. I have a cheaper backpack just from Walmart but am taking notes from this video how to keep it simple. Keep up the good work.

    Great bag and gear. You should toss some type of eye protection in there. They don't take up much space and have hardly any weight.

    P.S. I have bugged out for real in hurricane Ike and hurricane Rita. I was IN both of them. My stuff works and I am proud of what I have.

    Hey excellent pack!! I was wondering if you could do a video on how to properly use the speedy sharp tool? I have one and all that i use it for is striking a fero rod (works great for that) but I wanted to make it a multi functional item! thanks!

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival  9 лет назад

      We use the gh4 and g7 they are new to the market. Both are 4k resolution which is the highest possible out right now. As far as I know We are the only ones on RUclips filming in 4k.

    nice bag. nice setup. Is that knife a single piece of steel or 2? Take Care and Be Aware.

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival  9 лет назад +1

      It's the Chris Reeves Hollow handle. A single piece of A2 steel. They are "Grail knives" and aren't made any longer.

    Hey, any idea of how the 3500 compares to the 5.11 Covert 18 pack? they look to be pretty similar in design, profile, and price-point, but i haven't been able to find any comparisons.

    • @TuBui2
      @TuBui2 7 лет назад

      although i haven't tried the 5.11, consider this anecdote: the navy seals have used the MAP 3500 for the last decade. Militaries (not speaking about LEOs or SWAT) don't even touch the 5.11.

    Where do you find bankline? Is bankline a nick name for it? Does it have a proper name? I can't seem to find any

    • @jaytheirish
      @jaytheirish 9 лет назад

      search out "bank line" or "tarred twine" in Amazon. Size 36 is generally the option you want for your kits. Good luck!

    hey, do you have any specific medical kits you recommend ?

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival  9 лет назад

      I usually build my own. But look at Dr Bones and Nurse Amy. They have some good stuff and they have the knowledge. Cheap kits. Go with adventure medical kits.

    • @Weirdking27
      @Weirdking27 9 лет назад

      Thanks very much for your response. Would you ever use an its tactical med kit , dark angel medical or a north American rescue kit?

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival  9 лет назад

      Yeah man. Both of them make good trauma kits. If your looking for trauma kits. Medical kits are a little different. My kit I built has medical stuff as well as trauma GSW type stuff. I been meaning to get a video on it. I'll try to get one up soon when I get a free minute.

    This will be my 12th and final pack. I have 11 packs as survival and bug out bags all at different places and yes some at my bug out location along with several other kits and my EDC that stays with me all the time. I practice with mine often. I have been in 12 hurricanes and I am also a self defense instructor and I love my job. I am pressure point trained. 005658able
