I am coming to Portugal soon. Even if I knew which transportation to get on, I was concerned that I may not know where to drop off and get lost! But I see you use the google map. Maybe this would help a lot. Thanks. Also, I see several card options. Which one should I take if I want for buses, metro and trains? Also, does the card only work within Lisbon only?
Viva Viagem is the old version & Navegante is the newest version. They serve same purpose. These cards allows you to travel in all transport operators within the geographical limits of the 18 municipalities of Lisbon Metropolitan Area (Alcochete, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Lisbon, Loures, Mafra, Moita, Montijo, Odivelas, Oeiras, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Sintra and Vila Franca de Xira). Yes, google maps helps a lot when you travel 🙌 I hope this information helps you. Have fun in Lisbon!
Hello! Going to Lisbon in a few days and my question is regarding the 24hrs ticket. Would it be possible to pay for more than 24hrs, say I'm staying in town for 3 days? Do I have to top off every 24hrs for an additional 24hrs? Thanks.
Does this card let you ride the famous tram28 as well? Also, if you ourchase the 24hrs card which looks like 6 euro, this neans unlimited ride to metro, bus, trams etc, correct? Planning to go to Lisbon next month:)
Yes, you can ride tram using these cards. Yes, you can go for unlimited journeys. What kind of transportation you can use depends on which 24 hours ticket you purchase. There are 3 options of 24 hours ticket, you can have a look at these options by clicking the link that I put on the description box next to the word METRO. On the website you choose the option buy and there you can see the details about the tickets 😉 I hope this helps you! Have fun in Lisbon😁
@@heyselvie1686 just a follow up question here - the daily ticket €6.60 says only in the description as Bus/Metro while the daily ticket €10.70 says Bus/Metro/Train. Where is the Tram included here as it is not specified. Thanks! Great video by the way.
@erickxerxesmaquilang9922 Hey you can use both 24hours tickets to go by trams and funiculars. It just depends on what public transports you want to use during your travel☺️ The price increased from €6.60 to €6.80, click the link on the description box for more accurate prices. You can also buy the tickets on board, but only by cash.
If you need to take multiple busses to get to your destination, do you need multiple single journey tickets, or do they transfer automatically within a certain amount of time?
Yes, of course. You can check your balance in your card on the vending ticket machine. Insert it, choose with reloadable card and it’ll show you automatically your balance in it. 😉
Hi, we are coming soon to Lisboa with a group of 6 persones. Is it for tourist easier to buy the lisboa card, when we want to use the different ways of transporting? metro/elevator/tram 28/train to belem and cascai/bus to cristo, is it right, that we can use the lisboa card for all ways of transporting for 72 hours? for the first and the last way we want to buy a single card for every person every day. is this the easiest way? thx
Hi! It depends on your traveling plan, but if you guys are planning to visit a lot of attractions during the 72hours & use public transport to travel around, the Lisboa card is a really good idea to save money. It offers free public transport around Lisbon, free entrances to some attractions & discounts for some services 😊 You can check the details on Google, I hope it helped. Enjoy your holiday in Lisbon!

If I pay by zapping method, how can I tell how much is left on the card? Is there a way to check the remaining balance?
Yes, of course. You can check your balance in your card on the vending ticket machine. Insert it, choose with reloadable card and it’ll show you automatically your balance in it. 😉
can i just use my bank card / apply pay to scan in and out of things? i can see the visa / mastercard and paywave signs!
I don’t think so 😊 I think the paywave signs that you saw are the contactless validator to open the gates.
@@heyselvie1686 we just got back! used our cards and it worked :)
