You've done so amazing this month! I hope you can remember this feeling and keep using it as momentum to keep pushing forward 🎉 I can't wait to see your journey this year!
No, we don't include it with groceries. The income from customer orders gets recorded in our business account. Which is kept separately from our personal finances.
Yes. Because some of it is personal. I suppose we could transfer the money to our business account first, but the spending would still look the same in YNAB.
Great progress and meal planning really has made a difference to your grocery budget. Question - not being in Canada, if you take the kids out of daycare, does your kid allowance drop too? Just curious.
When you set your mind to improving the budget you do awesome.

Your grocery budget reduction is amazing!
Thank you!! 😊
I think taking the cash out makes sense because it keeps you from doing whack a mole. But, logging it as an inflow when you spend it might make sense.
Your groceries budget is WOOT!!!
I'm so proud of how we did!
should ditto spend be included in groceries? where do you track the income from customer orders?

Nope! The CCB is separate from the daycare subsidy. Which goes directly to the daycare. So the CCB income stays the same.
