7:40 I feel like the real magic in RM's lyricism is his ability to merge the three of his best interests: music, poetry, and visual arts. he paints his lyrics like an artwork and uses the visual and sensory to create beautiful poetry. he loves what he does, doesn't he? it shows.
Mono and Indigo are life’s playlists. I’m thankful for RM and thankful for you who reacts and digests RM’s music and artistry with so much respect and with the emotions that it deserves.
Some background on Park Jiyoon: she debuted in one of the big3 companies in the early 2000s, with a cult classic song called Adult Ceremony. It’s a song that talks about the experience of going from a teenage girl to a 'woman'. Unfortunately, the industry gave her a sexualized image and character, which affected her deeply, leading her to choose to leave the industry for a good while. Now she's back and highly successful in her own right as an artist who's looked up at by many current artists, including bts. I guess this song was therapeutic for both namjoon and jiyoon, who have both experienced what it is to make choices that brought them to a position they had never prepared to live through. By constantly repeating that there's "no looking back" and that "you did your best", they’re telling their past selves to rest and enjoy whatever path choice No.2 has set themselves on to 😊
Was looking for this comment. Thank you for typing this, listeners outside the fandom knowing this fact definitely enhances the listening experience and the overall message of this song
Ohhhh yeah if you read up on it it got waayyyy worse than what you described One story among many- her family is super Christian and their church played the adult ceremony music video IN CHURCH as part of some program about pop stars corrupting the youth//culture her family was obviously mortified and stopped speaking to her It got real dark 😅
I definitely think joon was thinking about this too why he chose Jiyoon for this track. It's not just about her voice fitting the vibe but she definitely can relate in a personal level to this song.
I feel like INDIGO is a therapy session for many people. I really hope at the end of the day we all could sing to ourselves "No.2" and give ourselves a pat on the back. Also, I can't help thinking of "Wild Flower" and "No.2" in the context of Festa dinner 2022 (Festa is a yearly event BTS organize around the date of their anniversary, and during Festa dinner in 2022 they announced they pause the activities as a group and would focus on individual work. And everything Namjoon said, all the tears he cried seems so much more important in the context of INDIGO album. Hope, you will watch it).
I always think of Lonely in relation to that too. I know he wrote it in Vegas shortly before the FESTA dinner. I was in Vegas for the last show; Jimin and Namjoon’s really deep and long kneeling bow at the end of the show made my stomach drop. Also Joon’s ending ment that night. I thought it meant they would be enlisting soon. It really felt like a long goodbye. But then Proof was announced immediately after they left the stage so I thought I was imagining things. Then June came and the FESTA dinner… Now with Indigo and FACE (as well as Jimin’s Suchwita episode about FACE), that deep bow has such context.
When people ask me why I listen near-exclusively to BTS, I don’t have enough words to express all the emotions their music brings to me, nor make people understand their diversity… I’m thinking I should show them your reactions, because, EXACTLY 💜
it’s like you emotionally get attached to their music i feel you.. i tried to listen other artist but it didn’t lasted long idk why but ig i feel home in tannies music bc no wonder where i go i come back to them at the end of the day .. i get you
Also we never get bored! Just look at this single (masterpiece) album, it’s got soo many styles and emotions nothing sounds like anything else but absolutely every is quality. My BFF won’t give them a try so she’s sick of me mentioning the guys (which I try to do only once every week or two).
they got it all. like what more can i ask for 🤷 the quality of music only bangtan can make👌 like that is reason why i hate those people who judged them before even listening to their songs.
I feel you on No.2, it made me cry when I first heard it while reading the lyrics. It’s the perfect closer, like a gentle forgiveness of yourself-you did your best with what you had. It’s something RM and Suga talked about on Suchwita as well. It’s so cathartic after listening to mono, sometimes I queue this song right after foreverrain
He'll be happy to know!😁 he's said how he wants Indigo to keep blooming in people's hearts with an evelasting scent. And that may indigo remain in their playlists for a long time💙
i will never be able to express the emotions i felt watching and listening to Wildflower. was crying for hours... it was as if rm was comforting me with his words... im so happy to be an army... and i get what you feel. RM really touched us all.. and yes i cried watching wildflower and no 2 until now. LOL
I’m sure you will get to his concert in Seoul Rolling Hall and get the total satisfaction of the live performances with several of the guests. Only 200 people were blessed to be there, but we all have the joy 🤗

When you think about it BTS is like listening to more than just one artist. There is the complete band, seven soloists, a rap group and a vocal group, collabs amongst members and collabs with other artists both as a group and with individual members. Add to that almost EVERY genre off music is covered, ARMYs have a literal buffet of music to feast upon. All just by staning one group. Frankly since discovering BTS 2 years ago, I haven’t had time to give to discovering other music.
Wildflower is /that/ main track. And No.2 is just a beautiful triumph song. Park Ji Yoon being on it just solidifies that the past doesn't have to rule your present and future. 💜💜💜
Indigo featuring artists who had their own history to add to the storytelling is so powerful. Plus the wide musical spectrum is done so masterfully. RM's technique and pen game are unparalleled, it's fact not opinion. He's a multi faceted artist that has my respect. Indigo is AOTY for me!
INDIGO ALBUM magazine (he talks about process), Rolling Hall in Seoul, NPR tiny desk indigo introduction, then INDIGO at diaBeacon, he sings while walking through the gorgeous museum as a backdrop
I'm so glad you experienced this journey called RM. This is why he's our philosopher. He teaches us about self and looking at your flaws and triumphs and understanding that without flaws you have no triumphs. So appreciate what makes you who you are.
If I could only listen to one solo artist for the rest of my life, it would be RM. I will sometimes play mono and Indigo on repeat for days. He makes me feel understood, and lets me know that it's ok, all while bringing up ALL the emotions. I love him.
haha. You looking back at yourself was cute. This whole album, as usual, was not what we expected... even those of us who have learned with BTS and the members you can't expect anything really. You never know what you are going to get which is so refreshing and awesome. Hope you watched him perform this at Rolling Hall where he got to go back to his roots and perform in such an intimate venue. I love how the guys all did their solo projects the way they wanted start to finish, including how they wanted to promote them and perform or not. Each member is so different (as I am sure you know by now) and watching them through this year of solo work has been incredible. RM worked to finish a new album (as best I can tell) before he went to the service. He even said he was still working up until the day they left. The tiny snippets we've gotten hint that it is going to be as wonderful as everything prior and even different still. Don't know if we will get anything while he is in or if it will drop after he's out but something to look forward to. I also assume Jin recorded an album but they only released a single for him so far so definitely more to come.
This album is soo 🔥🔥 I cnt tell you how many times ive cried listening to wildflower lmao. A beautiful progression of music. This album is like a warm hug fr fr n it makes me so happy for Namjoon ugh ima go cry again now lol.
When I saw you Vibing to Mono, I had a feeling you would like indigo. Songs that ate saying thing resonate with me hit different than songs that just sound good. Songs on both Indigo and Mono speak to my soul and musical spirit. Loved your reactions and preliminary evaluation of indigo
You have to watch RM Live in Seoul. He's vibing so comfortably in his own skin in front of 200 army and communing with his collab artists. It's such a moment
Indigo is a no-skip album but Wild Flower and Closer are my favorites. 😭 Wild Flower never fails to make me emotional, no matter how many times I've listened to it.
Indigo Magazine film, Indigo live in Seoul (at rolling hall) +Indigo live concert sketch (behind the scenes), and PSICK show with RM (it's a comedy interview talk show thing!!! it's HILARIOUS). don't miss these out!!!
When I first listened to the album and heard Youjeen come in on Wildflowers I started to cry immediately, her voice just hits you right in the feels, I wasn't able to listen to the song without crying for weeks. Since I was already emotional, No. 2 just hit me even harder. Ever since the pandemic I've felt like life has been on a pause for me, with me only looking back to what happened pre 2020, missing the life I had, not living in the now, not truly living at all actually. Indigo has helped me so much. Reacting to it again with you has again solidified what Indigo means to me. "the past isn't the place you live in, it's a place that you learn from and I'm saying these things as if I'm not guilty of living in my past, hearing this, it helps you breathe easier, you feel validated" hearing your words and seeing you experience Indigo helped me breathe easier too. Thank you so much for these honest reactions.
There are three certainties in life: death, taxes, and me crying while listening to "Wildflower" and "No. 2". RM is a genius at taking the personal and making it universal. 💜
I've been bingng your videos for the last few days and I have to say you are such a sincere person. Your reactions have brought me such joy. I love how much you've taken the time to check out each of the members and see truly why Army loves BTS so much. Thank you for being you!
The woman that sings No.2 with him was an idol who got a lot of hate for dancing and singing inappropriate music while being underage (none of which she had a power over it was the agency) and she struggled to be in the music industry. So having her sing this song about not looking back, moving on, and protecting yourself was very powerful. He did such a good job choosing the features in his music.
Thank you for going all through RM's albums. They are really amazing. If you want to watch a live performance of these Indigo tracks, please watch his Rolling Hall show. :)
Wildflower is one of those songs that i cannot listen on a daily basis bcs i will cry so much if i do. I save it for special occassion only, on days where i can cry in the comfort of my room by myself
I always cry when listening to Wildflower and No.2. Mono and Indigo are my comfort albums. I have everythingoes tattooed in my arm. I might have to get a wildflower tattoo.
"An album of healing, Triumph and self realisation" You hit the nail on the head! Thank you for appreciating Namjoon and his artistry! Please watch his Indigo Magazine film to listen to him talk about the album and then watch his Rolling Hall live for an intimate performance. It's a MUST!!
I fucking lonely.. I crazy addicted to this fucking beautiful song🤭😂😂.. But, no.2 and Wild Flower make me cry till my face swollen 😟.. The whole album, all songs truly a masterpiece.. Love all of these songs 🥺
Fuxking masterpiece of an album I cannot tell you man, the amount of times I cried to wildflower. I feel the those lyrics so much. Just feeling lost man. The lyrics just hit you right. I cried to several songs in this album at different time. And I got goosebumps again watching wildflower with you again. Also here is more from the album. Here is the interview with all of the features in this album plus namjoon explaining each track. ruclips.net/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/видео.html ALSO HERE IS THE LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE ENTIRE ALBUM THAT HE DID JUST LIKE JHOPE AT LOLLAPALOOZA RM AT ROLLING HALL SEOUL ruclips.net/video/6ZIh3ZLbUv8/видео.html
I took a 2000 mile road trip.. I played only one album over and over again… INDIGO!! By the time I got home I loved the album more than when I left! This is a feel-good album full of wisdom and Love! It’s a complete masterpiece!! RM is a musical musician!!💜💜
You have to check out "RM 'Indigo' Album Magazine Film", promise you'll love it. Really interesting with both RM taking you through the album + the featured artists also talk about their part and meeting RM etc.
And if you know park jiyoon's life story (featuring artist of the last track) 'No. 2' song will hit more hard. You'll understand why she says 'No looking back No'
"Lonely" is one of my favorite tracks from INDIGO - I love how you can vibe to the song and cry over the lyrics at the same time. The contrast is hitting hard! Also, it reminds me of love/hate message in the song Seoul from MONO in a way.
RM is the individual who attracts me to BTS, in 2015 I was in highschool, listening to him since, sometimes i feel like i grow with him, especially with this album, he always been there for me to listen to since, even now he keep reassure me with his thought, music and lyric
Wildflower / Flowerworks music video always makes me cry. There's just something so touching about the melody and the power with which youjeen sings. And that namjoon wants to go out like flowerworks? Slowly and beautifully floating down instead of fire that bursts and dissipates immediately...
This album was so beautifully constructed. Every single person he taped to be in a song was absolutely perfect to the song. Not only sound wise but life story wise too. Like Park Jiyoon, she went thru a really bad time in the industry. Set up as a sex icon at a young age. She left the industry for a while bc it was not what she wanted. She made a life, reinvented herself and came back to make the kind of music she really wanted. Now you hear her in this track w Namjoon about letting the past go. Just absolutely beautifully curated album He legit made a whole PowerPoint or assay for Erikah badu about why her voice was needed for this specific song. He wanted her in so badly. I think he mentioned if she wasn’t in it he was going to scrap it bc no one else would do it Justice. Truly amazing. His love for this craft is so inspiring
RM is the center pillar of BTS but he is an artist onto himself separate from them. He is just brilliant and soulful and we too feel blessed. He gives us his truths and it is so reassuring and hopeful. So so glad you did all 3 in order seeing the evolution is crazy huh? FYI BTS albums themselves all evolve like this each a complete work. Have a great week! Just loving seeing you tackle the guys in the most respectful and fun/complete way. 💜💜💜
This album is an absolute treasure - and when he did these live (RM @ Rolling Hall I think it’s called) it was truly gorgeous. Love this reaction series.
Would also recommend checking out his live performances for Indigo, the tiny desk performance and the rm indigo album magazine film where he explains the whole album and even gets his collaborators to talk about it. It's just fantastic!
This album is gorgeous Everything about it is just too good. Namjoon gave us a masterpiece 💜 wild flower was the first track l listened to in indigo and l shed a few tears, it's a beautiful promise
The amount of feelings/emotions he has hidden these last 5 years is put into the album indigo he made. He calls it an archive of his 20s. And I'll say it's a story of every human. From his previous album Mono to Indigo, it's a new version of Namjoon. While listening to it, I didn't feel one confusion or being lost, it's just a constant surrender and gaining control to find what truly matters to HIM and simultaneously, it makes a lot of people who can relate feel less alone. And to appreciate how good of an artist he is, because when the music production of a song is above the roof and also the music video is too royal with very high production quality, it's difficult to convey the emotions of a song like wild flower. Bc the listeners are too captivated by the music production and video production. But wild flower takes us on emotional ride. It's so interesting and moving at the same time how Namjoon as an artist went through several emotions, phases and changes in his life, influenced other artists, thinking about him as a wild flower that's grown amidst fireworks and harsh conditions, giving a sense of relief when you're at the toughest point in your life, not to look back that the present version of you is your best version, wrapping up his 20s with "10 blues" of his life that resonates with not just fans but other artists and influences them with his pure, genuine emotions and worries. The whole album is a ride and a vibe. It amazes me everytime I think about Namjoon or while listening to his songs. He is intelligence wrapped into a 6 foot frame.
Like with everythingoes, first listen to No. 2 and I cried. When I read the lyrics, I cried harder. But it's a good kind of cry, I felt so comforted! Joon said in Suchwita that the musicians/BH employees cried too when he played the song for them. So really, this is a universal experience. Lol I just wanna say thank you for all your wonderful uploads! I get happy and comforted watching you experience their music (and goofiness in other contents). Much like how I can't stan other acts apart from BTS bc of the difference in quality of their art, I can't watch other reactors now because of you. Your reactions to their music always have substance and heart and genuineness. Can't go back to anything less now. 💜
Now you see why he is a Genius high IQ our Namjoon. Yes you are blessed. When we find BTS it's like we entering another dimention of hope and love. ❤❤❤❤
Wow, your album reviews and reflections/thoughts are so good. Rm is soooo real, I'm so glad I'm living in the time he's making music. I also feel reassured. I can't wait to see more of your Journey 💜
Docskim, the producer of Wildflower, has said that he was planning to retire but working on this song with RM inspired him again. He just recently put out his own song, Breather, under the name Mikscod. He says he considers it to be Wildflower’s sister song. It’s gorgeous and is supposed to portray a panic attack (or anxiety attack? I forget, sorry). ruclips.net/video/4SbN1whuO0o/видео.html
Thank you for listening to the albums, front to back. You don't get that much, and many reactors miss out, especially with incredible B-sides. I hope you'll do the same with their group albums once you're done with solos, starting from the beginning. You really get the sense of who these people are.
Pls pls pls react to Rms indigo magazine film where he talks through his thoughts and process of the making of indigo. It quite a long one but holy crap, I appreciate RM so much more than I already did it’s so good
The permission to let go of guilt and regret and your mistakes is so cathartic for so many of us, because its the opposite of what we're told and reminded of in life. I think no one tells us is OK to stop looking back, which is why so many of us have that reaction to no2.
I don’t know if anyone has recommended them, but you have to watch the Rolling Hall and Dia Beacon live performances of Indigo. Life changing. Earth shattering. Your appreciation of Namjoon will grow exponentially.
Not gonna lie, I might have stayed up for this. It’s past 3am and I have zero regrets! I’m going to have to rewatch and put this up on my tv to do Tribe Workouts. The squats might kill us all! Lol
it's ok to cry. just like what RM said in SUCHWITA, that even the staff cried listening to No. 2
7:40 I feel like the real magic in RM's lyricism is his ability to merge the three of his best interests: music, poetry, and visual arts. he paints his lyrics like an artwork and uses the visual and sensory to create beautiful poetry. he loves what he does, doesn't he? it shows.
such a good point wow
Beautiful like wow u worded it so well omg thank u💜💜💜
This is so beautifully written
Wildflower makes me cry everytime. Rm is simply a genius.
RM: anger and frustration
Mono: sadness and loneliness
Indigo: acceptance and hope
Mono and Indigo are life’s playlists. I’m thankful for RM and thankful for you who reacts and digests RM’s music and artistry with so much respect and with the emotions that it deserves.

also her family's very religious and if i'm not mistaken she had problems with them because of the image JYP gave her

You can watch RM Indigo Magazine Film to understand more the album & the reason why those 10 songs are completely different.
RM is my role model in life i m so thankful he was my inspiration to get out from my depression
Thank you for going all through RM's albums. They are really amazing. If you want to watch a live performance of these Indigo tracks, please watch his Rolling Hall show. :)
I started tearing up at the end with you 🥺 such a great gift he's given us with this album
I love mono and Indigo, I love Namjoons mind. He is so good at putting feelings into words and lyrics.
Wildflower is one of those songs that i cannot listen on a daily basis bcs i will cry so much if i do. I save it for special occassion only, on days where i can cry in the comfort of my room by myself
The last line from Hectic: "We still love and hate this city." might be referring to the main message of Seoul ("I love you Seoul / I hate you Seoul")
This deserves a grammy. As a whole, my favorite album in a looong time.
Truly.
I cried everytime i listen to No. 2, and Wildflower ALWAYS give me goosebumps!
I always cry when listening to Wildflower and No.2. Mono and Indigo are my comfort albums. I have everythingoes tattooed in my arm. I might have to get a wildflower tattoo.
you need to see "RM Indigo magazine film", in this video he explains everything about this album. hello from brazil 🫠🇧🇷
Watching Jonathan get multiple eargasms is my new obession
“I would if I had your number” 😂
I fucking lonely.. I crazy addicted to this fucking beautiful song🤭😂😂.. But, no.2 and Wild Flower make me cry till my face swollen 😟.. The whole album, all songs truly a masterpiece.. Love all of these songs 🥺
Fuxking masterpiece of an album
I cannot tell you man, the amount of times I cried to wildflower. I feel the those lyrics so much. Just feeling lost man.
The lyrics just hit you right. I cried to several songs in this album at different time. And I got goosebumps again watching wildflower with you again.
Also here is more from the album.

indigo is a true masterpiece
Wildflower is giving me goosebumbs everytime..so powerful
why does your lil dance go with every song? 😭🫶🏻
I love how you’re still vidin’ even after the song is over. Lol This whole Album is pure Art.
I took a 2000 mile road trip..
I played only one album over and over again…
INDIGO!!
By the time I got home I loved the album more than when I left!
This is a feel-good album full of wisdom and Love!
It’s a complete masterpiece!!
RM is a musical musician!!💜💜
when u started lowkey tearing up during no.2 my tears started too lol ITS SUCH A COMFORTING YET POWERFUL SONG.
Yup. Namjoon’s voice doesn’t seem to come in my ears but right into my chest. No other artist does that. He is a gift. 💙
You'll understand why she says
'No looking back No'
RM: Somebody call me.
Tribe Loui and every ARMY out there: I would if I had your number, bro.
Yep that was a mood.
i love rm he is such a poet and makes me feel things with words that i can’t describe great reaction loui
you absolutely NEED to watch his NPR tiny desk video🙏🙏 it's so good, I promise
another Hectic appreciater
Indigo and Jack n the box is on repeat for me these days...I'm just feeling it on a whole new level
Rm is a poet that happens to rap 💜
Indigo was definitely a masterpiece. He is working on a new album now and no doubt that will be amazing as well.
I cried listening to Indigo when it dropped, now I just cried listening to it again with you, thank you
This album was so beautifully constructed. Just absolutely beautifully curated album
He legit made a whole PowerPoint or assay for Erikah badu about why her voice was needed for this specific song.
I recommend RM’s cover of Umbrella, it’s a duet. It is very underrated
Thank you for digging deeper into his lyrics, more people need to appreciate RM.
Indigo album is masterpiece 💜
This album is an absolute treasure - and when he did these live (RM @ Rolling Hall I think it’s called) it was truly gorgeous. Love this reaction series.
Yes
Would also recommend checking out his live performances for Indigo, the tiny desk performance and the rm indigo album magazine film where he explains the whole album and even gets his collaborators to talk about it. It's just fantastic!
You have to react to “RM Indigo Album Magazine Film” RM talks about the album with the featuring artists and producers
Mono is like a warm hug and comfort,
Indigo is freedom and liberation,
Both gave different feelings
Both different inspirations
Both a masterpiece.
This album is gorgeous
Everything about it is just too good.
Lol
I just wanna say thank you for all your wonderful uploads!
Wild Flower is so beautiful ❤
The lyrics, the visuals, the rap and vocals, it just gives me so much feelings.
Indigo saved me from myself, so grateful to RM, I owe him my world for saving my life💜
Thank you for enjoying RM’s INDIGO album… all by our precious wildflower Namjoonie 🥰🐙💜😘🐨♥️
Indigo is a masterful and musically mature album
I love how thought provoking Namjoon’s music is
Wow, your album reviews and reflections/thoughts are so good. Rm is soooo real, I'm so glad I'm living in the time he's making music. I also feel reassured. I can't wait to see more of your Journey 💜
I think RM's album and the songs are badly underrated. His album is like wine, it tastes better every time you listen to it.
True
I hate how funny I found that "Youjeen...Krabs?" FUCK 8:10
Docskim, the producer of Wildflower, has said that he was planning to retire but working on this song with RM inspired him again. He just recently put out his own song, Breather, under the name Mikscod. He says he considers it to be Wildflower’s sister song. It’s gorgeous and is supposed to portray a panic attack (or anxiety attack? I forget, sorry). ruclips.net/video/4SbN1whuO0o/видео.html
I don't know what to say anymore ...just thank you for doing this❤
This whole album is a mood. Yungi announced his album release date today 😁. Can’t freaking wait! ✌️💜
17:10 I've listen this song for n th time since release but yk I still cry listening this song and wildflower
Lol
