I am kinda impressed by how thick the audience seems to be, reading the comment section. This is a music video, it’s clearly inspired by anti-drug stories from Berlin, like Christiane F. Honestly, I thought TH audience had the chance to grow up over the years, but instead. The video is showing the brutal reality of the darker side of the German party scene. Things my friends went through even. It’s a good message and Bill acts great. If he was an actor , you guys would „get it“, but somehow the concept of a storytelling MV is too much? I hope TH continues delivering great videos like this one.
Thank you for this comment! I wonder all the time why most of the "older" fans are so not open for growth. This video is amazing and highly realistic. I work in a psychiatry and have also worked with drug addicts and it really shows reality especially here in germany.
Christiane F was the first thing I thought of when i watched the video! And the band already has another song about the danger of drugs: On the edge (stich ins gluck). The message in that song is more direct, but it's pretty much the same.
Even though Tokio Hotel changed a lot from when I was a hardcore fan, I won't say that their new music is bad, it's not at all. Their style changed completely but I think it's still good, maybe I'll start listening again.

The video does not encourage the drug use, but it makes you understand what goes on, once you start to make use of them. There is everything in this video: first the curiosity, the novelty of trying something new, then little by little, you sinks into the abyss: there is the loss of the dignity, the physical and moral destruction of the person, until the death, as you can see in the last part of the video. Tokio Hotel have treated a ruthless, but true topic, a reality of our days. Bill was a great actor. You can feel his suffering and pain. They did it with great skills, they're great artists so that's why I'm proud of them.

They were a huge part of my childhood. There are still TOKIO HOTEL, just grownup. We as their fans should accept them for what they are, they are still TH. Te re entiendo porque los empecé a escuchar desde los 12 años, y cada vez que me sentía mal o quería salir del mundo un rato los escuchaba porque eran mi salvación. La banda tiene mucho potencial, aunque no esté en su mejor momento pero hace falta más gente que los descubra.

i listened to t.h. when i was 15 years old.. about 7 years ago already. but i really like their new style! at first i thought it was sad that they stopped singing in german and switched to english. but bill really improved on his vocal skills and the english language. really love this clip. good warning for everyone. you can clearly see how passionate t.h. is about this issue and making a point. short... i love it!

i listened to t.h. when i was 15 years old.. about 7 years ago already. but i really like their new style! at first i thought it was sad that they stopped singing in german and switched to english. but bill really improved on his vocal skills and the english language.

They were usually recorded clean rock music and now they are inspirated by their life in Los Angeles. Didn't you see that they are still oryginal and awesome? Don't worry, guys. They know what they are doing with their music and they know what they have to do to be still Tokio Hotel, not easy disco shit. Look at their new songs in a good way.
