Yep, they did capture MD in its entirety, the characters, music, action, the feeling. I feel like we needed something like this to fill the gaps. And yeah, it might as well be canon and it wouldn't really break canon, so that's a huge plus, though the V maid thing may have spoiled some surprise from ep5. Overall, great stuff :D
@@sokradnxuretsejls4243 obviously I already knew all of the development stuff cuz like I spent a long time researching V for that analysis video. But yeah making it more obvious and accessible is definitely the right play and I like that they did that
Love the review. It really feels like the actual show without interfering with the main one. My only minor complaint is that the Zombie Drones tape was never brought up by N or even in the entire episode bcuz that was the cliffhanger in ep 4, but still l love lntermission. It's nice to have back seat from the plot and seeing the slice of life of the characters and learning more about them in a deeper level.
Funfact:every good person can make animations legendary, its not that they re bad at it But its that some dont have time ,some dont want to,some are lazy, some are tired all day doin activities etc etc Its just the time man, ur afraid of time going so fast that u get anxious and cant animate well (I am talkin about animators who ppl say that they cant animate) Edit:btw I am not saying u can't animate
I don't think it fits the cannon series very well, for a few reasons: While the characters are done well and are in-character for the most part, I feel like V has one major out of character moment near the end (where she just explains everything). Based on how she interacts with N and Uzi (mostly Uzi) in episodes 5 and 6, it's safe to assume that they wouldn't know this about V yet. V's development is kind of repeated from episode 4 as well, she tries to kill Uzi, then changes her mind and feels bad (implied from V telling the teacher that she killed the classmates instead of Uzi). There are also some word choices that seem a little out of character, but this is more of a nitpick. It also doesn't really fit in between episodes 4 and 5. It implies that Uzi has been having nightmares for multiple days, but episode 5 starts because the trio watches the Zombie Drones tape (you can see it on Uzi's computer), which causes N and V to get some of their memories back, which causes Cyn to try to reset them. They had the tape at the end of episode 4. Why would they wait multiple days to watch it if they are trying to figure out what's going on? Also, Intermission makes it seem like Uzi hacked into N and V's minds to find the memories, instead of to stop Cyn from resetting them. Another thing is that if it was cannon, Intermission would kind of ruin episode 6, since it's supposed to be the first time Uzi gets taken over by Cyn (which is a major part of the episode), and where V is shown to care for Uzi (another major part). Still an amazing fan project (the best so far imo), but I wouldn't consider it cannon.
@@viciousworm1784 no no shes mot controlled by cyn in intermission she just goes feral like in episode 4. I didnt think about the tape tho thays a good point
I wouldn’t consider it cannon either, I think the whole point of it was to get an idea of what happened in between. (I think.) like you said still an amazing project. 100% Agree with you on the part of V being out of character. Can’t tell if I like her more or less that way, maybe it was to see V in a different light. And since it’s not trying to be like a canon episode, that has its advantages.
@@blanterdang6112 I think Uzi was under control: unlike in episode 4, she has the robotic voice, and didn't know what she did while going feral (it took her a bit to realize that she hurt N). I could be wrong though.

@@blanterdang6112 no problem. Glad you debunked probably the biggest blow for the murder drones community that isn’t the next episode. And got to hand it to the voice actors (especially V and Uzi) for capturing the panic & confusion. I mean if I had to be really cruel on it, I’d say V during that emotional part with everyone laying down acted a bit out of character considering it’s between ep 4-5. but I think it paints her in a new light for the better. Giving us a new more empathetic look on V. Adding to her character arc. (and how I think she’ll act when she returns.) And since it’s non-cannon I feel like they could play around with altering characters in different ways, like a sandbox style approach. Otherwise definitely top scoring on the murder drones fan projects. (Tied with “N sanity” in my personal favorites.)
V’s face after Uzi’s wig fell off was the best part of that whole thing.
