Who the hell wants to remote into the computer in the next room? And yes, router configuration, port forwarding, and picking the port, is very confusing. The documentation from Microsoft sucks. I wish one of you geniuses would show us how to remote into a computer that's not in the same room. I guess that s why NOBODY uses it. It's too complicated.
I use Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to the machine in my basement. Much simpler, and works cross platform. I've not done an article or video on it yet, but I should.

Not that I'm aware of. This is a Windows feature.
