You will love this true story. The first musical instrument I picked up and played was a harmonica. My young Mum and Dad and I (a little over one year old) were on a ship (The Partisanka) escaping from an oppressive regime. Another little kid a bit older had a harmonica and my parents bought one for me as apparently put on a bit of a show when he used to play it. That little kid used to pretend to throw it overboard and pretend it came back. I tried the same trick but........... Long story short my first musical instrument has been at the bottom of the Indian Ocean all these years.
