I've actually made up my mind to fire one brother from church who started working for me only last month. The amount of insults he hurled at me over things that have absolutely nothing to do with work, and he had no remorse at all, shocked me to my core. And he has nothing to show in his life. Was hoping I could mentor him and help take his aspirations of taking his dream off the ground. But unfortunately his time is up. I can't stay in the same place with a man who does not honor me. Worst part I'm clean from all those suspicions and allegations he had held against me. So yeah...honour is real.
Remember the fruits of the spirit.... Patience, forbearance etc... Don't act on emotions, sometimes as a believer you don't need to defend yourself, God himself will vindicate you. If a person persists in dishonouring you, pray for him instead, he could be a victim of an evil spirit using him. In such cases that's where you show that he who is in you is greater. Remember our Lord Jesus Christ was dishonoured by many, but how did he respond, by correcting them with love. He reciprocated with love and compassion. Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety. So use the counsel you have received wisely 🙏
