This Halloween Cake Is Filled With A Colorful Candy Surprise | TODAY
I was so saddened to hear the news of her passing,I've loved her from Laverne and Shirley days to date..RIP sweet angel🙏✨💔👼🦋🕊
She looks beautiful here!
Right?? I came here to post the same thing. I never found her physically attractive in Laverne and Shirley, but she's really pretty in this interview. She's also a wonderful director.
Penny Marshall, You are and were Awesome!
She was so talented. Rest in peace
Penny Marshall looks so cute here..
☺ 💕 xoxox
I know right ♥ Our little baby! xoxox
Does she remind anyone else of Princess Di here, or is it just me? The bashful eye rolls. Loved her. RIP Penny.
Rest in peace, Penny! Love you!
I love Penny and I love Big! I love Gary too! Legendary talent! RIP Penny aka Laverne
RIP Penny, you will be missed!
Beautiful penny rip a great talent gone too soon 😔🇨🇦🇨🇦
She was always, ALWAYS so modest!
Loved you from Laverne and Shirley to directing...
Drinking a Pepsi and milk in your honor
Rest gently Penny
💟💟💟💟
Love you Penny. RIP dear.
As a director, Penny may not have been too prolific, but I give high marks to "Big," "League of Their Own," and "Awakenings." All three are wonderfully cast, with superb performances by the cast and perfect editing. It's hard not to credit the Director for such quality.
The interviewer did not let Penny speak very much and it made Penny very nervous. RIP Penny!
Jane Pauley was tragically styled. Penny, an eternal gem.
In this interview yea with all that Green and clunky, She should of worn what Penny was wearing
Directing is where she shined. Like a dancer, but their choreography is even more.
She enjoyed directing but said she preferred to be in front of the camera because there was more to do and it was fun. Penny preferred to be more active.
Penny Marshall is so beautiful she wasnt one of these fake Barbie doll celebrities
Jane Pauley is a gem, but I feel here she's reaching hard for Penny to say something very "pro-woman" or some grandiose statement about her talents as a director. Penny wasn't taking the bait. Penny was as real as they came without that Hollywood ego, it seems. Both gems.
Iove you penny Marshall RIP
R.I.P. Penny Marshall
Look at Jane Pauley's shoulder pads! She looks like a linebacker for the Raiders.
yes and the hair! very strange
Wow, was she good looking!
Penny had beautiful green eyes
Yes, they were but she wished they were blue.
She was a good looking girl
BIG was produced and directed in MID 1980s and was used as preRequisit for CLASSES in late 1980s for UCLA and STANFORD UNIVERSITY;
How was this movie shown in classes in the late 80s when it was released in the late 80s? It was released in 1988
God blees
Is so pretty
I still think big is wicked funny
WTF is wrong with the 2 people that disliked this?
Clowns!
5
Shirley fans 🤣
@@azerethroth5761 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saddened. Ill be watchin lavetne an shirley someblike oldies
;love her prayers thoughts with fsmily and friends
I laughed so hard at your comment!! lavetne an shitne! What is someblike? Hahhahhahahahah
She was pretty lady.
Pre 2000's: Girl could be a tomboy and still grow up to be a successful wife and mother.
Post 2000's: Girl is a tomboy, gets told she has a gender identity problem, gets hormone treatments to alter her biology, kills herself a short number of years later.
Yep, that's our world people. Same goes with guys and probably in greater numbers.
Jane looks so YUMMY here.
That’s Debra. 😊
Did somebody serve time for doing that to Jane Pauley's hair?
would one describe jane's hair as a mullet?
Pauley's questions here are fairly appalling. "Is that unprecedented for a woman director?" At this stage there were only a handful of women directors working, and most were only "allowed" to do niche projects, not commercial films with wide appeal. The question is loaded with dopey presuppositions. Then: "how did you know about 13 year old boys?" I wonder if Pauley ever asked any of the numerous male directors she interviewed how they knew about the female characters in their films?
I agree with the "appalling" adjective, but you have to understand this was 1988. It would absolutely be appalling to ask that question in 2020, but for that time, you couldn't consider too many commentators or news organizations "enlightened" by the most generous of definitions. I was there, and this was considered a pretty standard, zero-red-flag interview.
That’s Norville, not Pauley. 😊
At least Pauley spoke in complete sentences with coherent thoughts.
Makes a fetching blonde.
NOT FIRST oh wait I am
She was better looking in her 40s than she was in her 30s lol
I think that's true of most women.
Yeah, Penny looks pretty here. She didn't age well, and she got harder to understand in later interviews because of her heavy Brooklyn accent and her mumbling. If she had taken care of herself we might still have her. Sad
5 people have no respect WTF wrong with you!?!
Gwynth Paltrow’s twin wooooajhhhhh!!!
In this entire interview, she barely utters a coherent thought or a complete sentence. She just sits and giggles and makes faces.
I never saw the Movie and can't stand how unattractive Hanks is. Gives me the creeps.
*Old TV talking heads are cringy and fake AF.*
