This ads to the backstory of them, in the season 7 episode Hitchcock and sculpt, the cold open shows what they were like in the 80s, and that might be why they were mib agents, but they got lazy. Scully can almost die at every second, and Hitchcock became a perv.

A lot of people say that MIB 2 wasn’t good. I really beg to differ, MIB 2 was actually the first film in the trilogy that I saw when I was younger and it’s full comedic moments just as much as it has its share of serious moments. To me, MIB 2 is just as good as the other two😌
Its a decent movie in general. I liked MIB 1 and 3 better, but the trilogy as a whole is well rounded. I wish i could neuralyse myself to forget that MIB International existed though.
