@Daniel Martinov I also have this car. On a long journey your looking at about 60mpg once its warm. I like to take mine to redline so I get between 45 and 50mpg. Driving as economically as possible I have achieved 74mpg before.
the most important thing is, how to drive. i love this car and drive with 4,1l/100km. no hills or mountains. average one km/per minute. from petrol stopp to petrol stopp 1200 km.
I like this car. One question. When you change gears? Its ~ 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm ? I think this is very important to fuel consumption. Maybe it can be less then 5,4 l/ 100 km.
+Giedrius Berzanskas these should be quicker there over 100kg lighter, my mk6 1.6tdi after a few tweaks produces 215lb ft @ 1500rmp - 2500rpm , has not added more mph , bhp isn't much more it only 105bhp @ 4400rpm, (who revs diesel that high!?). pleased with the result .It keeps up with a 2.0tdi (which has the same torque figures). Could do with a 6th gear and in my case a stronger jubilee clip to stop the air hose from popping off the turbo charger!!! you'll notice in the vid esp is off I can understand why throttle is more responsive with it off.
i wouldn’t agree with you about motor not being long lasting, my friend has one with over 350.000 kilometers and without any problems. germany made a very good car for small price

I have this car, and it is honestly the best car I have ever had. It is reliable, presentable, economical, and very comfortable and spacious.
Is it really economical? Can you tell me more about the consumption?

Diesel? 4motion?
Awesome car, I love it!
Kevin94 be serious
I have the mk 4 with 75 HP and this car will be my next one. Not even 4000rpm with 200 kmh in 5th is more than enough for me

I usually drive with an average of 4.7 l/100km
my first car
Theres one Mk6 for sale near me. Should I buy it? I'm a bit afraid it will be too slow since it's only 1.6 engine. What do you think?
I actually have one and its pretty fast.
I'm afraid of the refinement levels on this

Very weak, noisy and unrefined engine.Comparing the 1.5dci from Renault is Startrek...Another galaxy.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very weak and too slow...And I don't think this is a long lasting engine too
