They really made the sharks work until the very last second. So relieved that my Sharkies won....never say die. I believe this URC will be theirs to win as long as we don't have Andrew Brace as a ref for any of the SA teams

Dragons management should absolutely chastise their players for the way they played in the final few minutes. They had been spoken to and then warned about repeated infringements but they still went ahead and inflicted damage on themselves. A team that WANTS to win understands when they need to keep their discipline in check. They didn't, however, and they rightly paid the price.
Often teams infringe and lose their ‘discipline’ because otherwise they would just give away the score instead. The dragons have had a much better start to this season. Hopefully they can keep it going and get a few results on the board.
Wasn't a bad game never seen these two teams play before , sharks would have destroyed dragons if they would have fielded a full squad, but a good night out in newport of the back of this
Great atmosphere at Rodney Parade tonight. Crowd really got behind rejuvenated Dragons, but missed kicks proved expensive in the end. Well done to the Sharks for 5 points with their 2nd XV
Dragons by far the better team but thankful my Sharkies came out on top! Sharks need to shape up, I know its been back to back comps after the Currie Cup and no rest but the URC (plus Champions Cup) is a different beast.

Loads of Boks not in, 2 yellow cards, too many penalties, away from home and Sharks still won . Gratz!!
Tmo tried his best to get a little Dragons bonus...
...missed obvious shoulder dive to Hendriks' head, as they reviewed the "deliberate knock" and subsequent yellow - very consistent.
And then that final try, first the tmo couldn't find a camera angle that would have led to a Dragons yellow, and then couldn't stop finding angles to dream up a reason to disallow the winning try.
Sharks rose above it all, and banked the 5 log points.
That try check was quite long for a clear try. He kept repeating that it is on the line, but they kept looking for something wrong.
Another week of weird, very inconsistent reffing in a sharks game. Color me shocked.
I agree right on 3:05 in this highlight package - late and no arms to the head. How they missed that baffles me.

So all the URC games I watch hardly has any spectators - why is that?
Camera angle does it no justice, I was at the game had to be @ 50% capacity at least
Cameras are always on the same side as the main stand. In SA especially people sit on the western stands where the cameras are to avoid looking into the sun.

Plumtree must be the worst coach in South Africa. How can you have so much talent and play such one dimensional rugby? Emagine what the Lions coaches will do with this team. Time for Plumtree to shape up or ship out.

There’s goes the sharks season, our worst performing union with one of the biggest budgets and it’s littered with DEIs from Zimbabwe 🥴… I think SARU should put the cheetahs forward if this team doesn’t make top 8… Dragons shafted themselves in this game, as it was a dismal performance by the sharks!
