She explores alot on studio and she showed more of her capabilities and goes over the limit when recording the studio. Not to mention her creativity and musicallity also.
I prefer her recording style from daydream and butterfly, that’s her musical peak and both of my all time favorite eras! I love the creativity of this video, would love to see a part 2 covering the 00’s era to present day!

One thing i would say is once Mariah let go of tommy she was able to REALLLLLLLLLLY do her backgrounds and layering Justice. She has def have always had the ear for how a song should flow but it just seems like the production of vocals were even BETTER!!

I’ve never realized how raspy her earlier studio vocals were. I love the technique she started to employ on the daydream album for her high notes.
