Okay, stinky. Scientists do know how tornadoes form, and if you think thats a bit false,
Here’s a simplified rundown of the process:
    1. **Storm Formation**: First, you need the right conditions for a thunderstorm, which include warm, moist air near the ground, cool, dry air above, and a strong wind pattern that increases with height.
    2. **Updrafts and Downdrafts**: In the storm, strong updrafts (rising warm air) and downdrafts (falling cool air) create a spinning effect due to wind shear (a change in wind speed and direction with height).
    3. **Mesocyclone Formation**: If this rotation intensifies, it forms a mesocyclone. The rotation is horizontal at first, but it can tilt into a vertical position due to the strong updrafts.
    4. **Funnel Cloud**: As the rotation strengthens, a funnel cloud can form. This is a rotating column of air that extends from the cloud base to the ground but is not yet touching the ground.
    5. **Tornado**: When the funnel cloud touches the ground, it officially becomes a tornado. The tornado can then cause severe damage due to its intense wind speeds.
