Absolute professionalism. If anyone ever questions it, look at the seamless recovery from a fumble, flows like water like it didn't even happen. Beautiful. That right there is how you tell the champions from the workaday competitors in *any* arena. I doff my hat to thee, sir.
@@TomDyerBartender I'm just glad I get to watch a master at their craft. Wish I could have been there in person. Just recently started getting into flare bartending (I've been behind the bar for bloody YONKS, so I've got a few tricks), but I've never seen anything on this level. Absolutely stunning.
i was there when this brilliant happened, it was the best show i ever seen.. Tom came even a bit later, close his time to perform and he did it so briantly.. he just crushed the entire crowd
I love seeing when he gets in the grove and it just flows that is the greatest feeling bartending flare speed perfecting proportions its all in the feel!!!
And here i was convinced that to Be considered a flair-tending pro you need more than 2 objects....... Never was i more wrong in my life. Fucking brilliant. the most beautiful 2 object routines ive ever seen
I thought having 3 or more flair bottle or tin makes you highly professional but this is way beyond than what i imagine. Just a flair and a shaker. Which i didn't except to be this amazing!!! You gave me inspiration for this routine haha, been practicing flair for 5 months and i am gladly want to improve just like you. 😀
I've watched tons of flair videos from competitions, none made the crowd go that crazy and there were only two objects! Astonishing performance! Greatest I've seen so far!
Don't know how many times I've watched this now. It always makes me smile! You are the G.O.A.T with 2 objects! I stopped flairing nearly 10 years ago now, but this makes me miss it so much. Especially competing on stage. There's no greater feeling! Thank you Tom Dyer!
Thanks Ben, that is really kind. Thank you so much. A lot of love went into that routine and it makes me smile receiving nice comments like this. thank you
Jus started learning to flare and watching this guy jus makes it look even more appealing , if I could do a 1/4 of what he can do I’ll be more than happy with myself , it’s so fun trynna learn new tricks
Awwwww....thanks,. That is kind. It's quite sad, but I enjoy to watch it too. Always makes me emotional as well. Reminds me of all the good times on stage
I feel like there is some kind of deep life lesson embedded into this video and performance. I'm currently watching the winter Olympics and these competitors train their whole lives for one performance where a single slip or fall eliminates them from the competition, leaving them in tears and regret that can follow for years. Here we have a performance that blows the roof off the house, where you probably make 100 mistakes or more, and just keep smashing through with the next trick, the next, the next, faster, flashier, more difficult. I wish there were more arenas in life where you are cheered on enthusiastically for pushing yourself to the absolute limits, and can be proud of a spectacular performance that is full of mistakes from beginning to end.
Thanks Ben. That's a really nice way to look at it. Perfection in the flair bartending competition world I think I have only ever seen once from a guy called Danilo Oribe. There is too much alcohol involved to not make mistakes 🤣
Man ! You are out of this world !!! I wonder what's wrong with the world... Millions of views and followers for some Hammerheads and not so many for a person like you. But you are a real deal !!!
I had enough of practicing so many hours and the stress of competing. Was time to move on to other things liking making videos on a you Tube channel :)
@@TomDyerBartender I totally understand, at least you quit with a banger. I hope you had loads of fun up there! Watched a few of your videos and will continue to watch more, I hope you've found your joy again in making RUclips videos, best of luck to you in the future and see you soon.
Jumbles' on fire right behind! Tom, the Grand Marnier bottle move got me so bad. No way it will ever be equalled. Lookin forward to pass by London after aaaall this mess. Peace!
Cheers Vache. Was my most enjoyable as well, which I believe is a testament to doing on stage what YOU enjoy as a bartender. You need to be excited about it and then everyone else will be too.
I had lost all my motivation about bartender for a time. Till I watch this video its like can live again in my own life. Could you make a video for beginners and who’s lost the point of bartending life like me how to return and make it great again. Thank you very much. All respect for you from Vietnam.
@@TomDyerBartender Really?!?! That sounds pretty cool. However, I think if I started doing that all the neighborhood kids would want to eat at my house, although I'd probably be the "cool mom" on the block 😉 ha ha ha.
Yes. Please try and understand this is a show. A performance. A competition of the most extreme tricks in what we do. Hopefully you knew that already and were trying to be funny. If not, then let me take a moment to give you this analogy. When you see a footballer doing lots of "tricks" or "keep ups" you dont automatically think they are doing that in a games so why think that we would do that behind a bar?
