That's a lovely piece of music for a dinosaur adventure film. I always thought the first movie captured a certain majesty and sense of awe and wonder that all the sequels lacked. The orchestral version when they first see the plant-eating dinos was quite something.

The thing I love about this piece the most is how perfectly in contrast it is with the movie it's set to. It has a sense of nostalgia and wonder to it, while the movie is full of death and screaming. It's amazing
StewieSwan imo this piece was written also to help imagine an unspoiled world, like it was in dinosaur era. Or maybe to remember dear people and places, nostalgia as you said
It was written with the script in mind. Williams wrote a melody expressing a child's imagination.

Growing up, Jurassic park was always on. I think my family really enjoyed it, so when the most recent one was on release I knew I had to watch it. Oh all the good memories of childhood. ❤️❤️❤️!

The first part is very beautiful and soothing to listen.....I just close my eyes and enjoy every second..... Emotional, sad, happy, relaxing and beautiful all at the same time..... Then at 3:12 is where the goosebumps start and my adrenaline gets pumped and I head bang to the rest of it......a breathtaking piece from Jurassic park..... One of the best in the world.....stayed, stays, and will stay as one of the top piano pieces of all time

bro i'm crying, I love jurassic park so much, it reminds me when I first watched the movie I was 6 yo (yeah a bit young lol) it was 12years ago, so it was 2 times the age I was when I first watched the movie xD.
I love the two songs btw even if it's considered as one, the one from 00:00 and then the one at 03:15, John Williams is so great, he actually did 2 songs in one and it adds even more nostalgia
