- Oregon Citys Chris Buzzini keeps the 150-year-old craft of lampwork paperweights alive. These crystalline balls, with tiny, detailed floral arrangements inside, require a jeweler's touch and years of experience to make. Only 20 people in the world make lampwork paperweights.

I’m blown away by so much of this video... the skill and expertise of the artist, rarity of this art form and the exquisite beauty of the paperweights. I came across this while trying to find a glassblower in Oregon. I’m trying to commission a heart-shaped orb using a small portion of my sister’s remains.
Such a joy watching this!
Truly wonderful, real art.
Totally aweenspiring Chris, truely beautiful :)
Oh My, I am in AWE of your talent.
All I can say is..."Wow"
Absolutely wonderful thank you so much for this video...
functional glass artists such as Eusheen Goines and many others make large marbles with lots of design, this craft will never die. great work though.
Your heart and soul in glass.
Wow nice.
Wow! Amazing work! If you decide to teach, please contact me!
MARAVILHOSO!! Parabéns!
Hey, Chris, Sue found this after a glass paperweight was shown on Jeopardy this evening. She found that you'd retired in 2015 and returned to CA, so we can only hope you see this. Hope all is well with you and the kids, we live near Knoxville now, close to Dustin & his family. Trevor is Dir. of Advertising for KFC and lives in Louisville with his wife and three kids. Spencer's married with one daughter and lives in CO. We're both retired and love it here in Maryville!
All the best, Mike & Sue Park
