I can advocate that fishdom wasn’t always like this. Before mobile games became such a craze, I played the original fishdom on a dell laptop. Sure it was still a match 3 game, but it owned it and showed actual gameplay when it showcased itself. No in-app purchases either. How far the mighty have fallen, eh?

I used to play it, along with homescapes until I got a new tablet. It was pretty fun, but I don’t like how they use fake ads. Also, after a few dozen levels the game becomes practically impossible to beat unless you get in app purchases
Actually, I think that's a good idea for the next video to include present mobile ads that still honest to their gameplay, to increase their publicity and also to encourage them to make better ads.

We live in an unfortunate time where companies get super lazy at showing actual gameplay when it comes to advertisements for their mobile games. It's nothing short of corporate greed as well as quantity over quality.
Actually, you can play the game in the actual game, sometimes when you beat a level it will offer you to play a minigame, and that minigame is what you saw in the ads.
This is like those ads for adult only games with some medieval babe asking you to "come play with me my lord" or something to that effect, but as it turns out the actual game is anything BUT what was advertised.
This game is so needy. I made it to level 68 and now have to spend more than 30 minutes completing one level, also have to come back to the app to feed my fish. It's really absorbent of my time
