For anyone wondering, he needed to close up the end portal because primed tnt is an entity. Entities can go through end portals. Since they do not have a repsawn point, they are teleported to spawn, which means the moment the chunk they're in is loaded, a lot of lag and destruction will happen.

@@EaterOfGeese There are on java edition, and they're always loaded when a player is in the overworld. They would be unloaded here though, since he's in the End.

I just dicovered your channel with your ten years of the superflat recap. I gotta say, this is such a unqiue and fresh take on a classic game mode! This world radiates imgination and it's great to a see a new way of playing the game! In my opinion, the mine in Minecraft does not literally mean mining as in deep underground. To me the two phrases put together mean destroy (mine) and create (craft) which I think is the very bare boned nature of Minecraft itself. I'm really jealous of what you managed to do esepcially with your dedication and determination. Thank you so much for molding Minecraft into a new expirience and I can't wait to see what this world has to offer in the future!

I get that tnt duping has duping in the name, but at this point it’s an intended mechanic. mojang has purposely left it in the game for years now, because Java doesn’t get moveable tile entities.

fair note: when you go through the portals to the outter end islands, get blast protrction because alot of tnt went through those portals
Or he Can drop Items into the portal that will load the chunks for just enough time for tnt to blow up and then it will be safe

the gateway entrance is like 1x1 the chances of tnt flying perfect to enter those portals are extremely low

7:00 -ish. For the TNT holes, I think you could put 2-4 nether rack vertically between the TNT's and they would still go off vertically, but maybe not horizontally (not sure).
Because a pillar of TNT will "over penetrate" with explosive force, so you can use the nether rack with almost no blast resistance to space out the TNT's to make each explosion more efficient, while still maintaining the chain reaction.
10:07 Netherrack would also prevent the "compression problem" too, but it would be more annoying to place 2 types of blocks, instead of just one type.

You'd want an abundance of TnT to prevent any irregularities in the TnT igniting. Even with this some remnants remain

Also a suggestion; Maybe a country based theme could be fun to try in the overworld, Mabye some sort of je exhibition of the countries you’ve been to and where you wanna go, and what you’ve experienced there?
as an hardcore player, big props to you man, I could never do what you do in this world, that's so impressive to me how I realize that I need a baseline. You, on the other hand, you are building all of this (and I must say, including this channel) from scratch. That, do me, is the most impressive thing
I have lost over 130 hardcore attempts and this video inspired me to keep going. I love to watch these giant projects that you spend many hours on, and to also see the final results. Amazing persistence, and I hope you do more of these seemingly pointless tasks just for fun.

@@mr.thomas6348 I think dying way more than someone else isn't exactly "strength", and also playing over and over pretty much makes you insane after a while. As a tip; take breaks from the game. Never should you overwork yourself!

On my 2nd hardcore attempt for 8 months. Best tip is to build a raid farm early on and keep 1-3 totems in your inventory at all times :)
@@a-r I did a raid early game and I got saved twice from the totems. The main reason I died so much is because I don't know when to stop caving. I would always die from a creeper falling from a higher cliff or a mob spawner spawning way too many zombies.
Btw, you can use the following blocks between TNT for vertical explosions:
Easiest: Glass or Glass panes
----Panes of course are less resource intensive
Leaves or carpet also work.
You can put up to 3 blocks of any of those between the TNT and the TNT below the one you light will still go off.
It's a great way to use MUCH less TNT.
I'm shocked that it seems like no one knows this.... I was just experimenting and was like, "OH WOW!"
