It's a tough life in the beginning. I'd say try to find some customers BEFORE you start your company. Also work on building your sales and marketing skills. That's where most people who come from the operational side struggle when they get started.

The security industry continues to grow and with national firms gobbling up smaller companies, there are a lot of customers who are looking to be serviced by local security companies that value the business. In terms of why we sold, it was just the right time. 😉
AM i allowed to fire my imployese with out any More pay if they don't give people worning that they were trespassing on private property or not at all?

You have to pay them for every minute that they've worked, but if you are in an employment at will state you can fire them anytime you want.
