Where is the card with IBA logo, Tyne Tees?

Not sure this is 1987, as the startup clearly begins before 9.25am. TV-am would still be on air?

It is 1987 but the music at the start is a mockup. I'd have thought that was obvious given the regular loss of colour during the music - it's a loop of a still of the ident taken from another capture.

Fake. TTTV got rid of full startup routines in 1983, but the clock/graphics are from 1987. The actual startup would have started right after TVam with the ident - someone has attached the music to the start.

Yes that is so too. As far as I know, all the ITV companies did end their startup routines in 1983 when TV-am came on before them, albeit gradually from what I have read before in the Test Card Circle magazine.

Other than maybe Channel Television, who still showed the IBA ETP1 test card before they started later on, which they still did for a few years or so before they too took up programmes then so too.

@@brucedanton3669 I believe Border retained their formal startup until around 1985-6 or so, and I think Anglia did as well. Most companies were either starting up with promos at 9:25 or in the case of at least TTTV and Thames, had short news bulletins at 9:25 leading into schools programmes. Tyne Tees and Border were certainly two of the last companies to continue with the authority announcement - TTTV were possibly the last, only getting rid of it altogether in 1988.

@@jasejj Yes indeed so too there of course. I am sure you are right there too. Tyne Tees were no doubt the last to do so, as well as Border who continued until 1985-86 or so as you say so too.

@@jasejj And yes Anglia too which I have seen on other uploads before now too.
