Romania is an incredible country. Spent a week driving around the Transylvania/Carpathians region and it was awesome. Beautiful scenery, great people and just a fantastic time.

I really enjoy these gig vlogs because my job is an audio engineer/tech for a production company here in the US and I love seeing how different but similar the stages and rigs y’all have in Europe are!
You can play anytime in Romania, in Cluj are a lot of metal pubs and in august there is a festival there are coming a lot of band really some are famous and some are not that famous

The intro music is on, you have less than 10 seconds to go on stage, the crowd is screaming and you decide to: a) check if you are in tune b) check if the cable/tremolo bar etc are in place c) do a quick muted strum to check the signal chain has not failed due to bad weather d) adjust your camera on the floor

This year i was at 2 festivals ( one is Alternosfera, you need to listen them, and ofcourse Slipknot). But each time i get nasty sickeness (covid was once...). So many rock concerts in Romania this year, i never saw so many.. Do many Ola learns, i love them so much.

I'd like to know when the space in between audience and stage got to be so huge. That's one of the only things I don't like about modern concert-going.
