I have to wonder if this is (and I'm almost sure it is) a piece Pisano wrote FOR Jean herself for the film. God. What a maestro. Genius. Gorgeous beyond what words can describe. And how it puts Seberg in my mind. That travesty and injustice, how no one paid for what was done to her is unthinkable to me. And people STILL want to believe in and trust their governments. Funny how we never learn. NEVER. Thanks for posting this. I feel you have given me a precious gift, as I was unaware of this piece before this posting. Graci!
Since Maestro Pisano was Italian and since Italy is a peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea with renowned locations, from Portofino to Taormina, it would more likely that he was thinking about a quite summer evening driving an Alfa Romeo, maybe on the way back from the sea to a Villa full of smart guests surrounded by maritime pines. You can obviously imagine what do you want, but I personally don’t imagine Rabat when I’m listening Burt Bacharach or Puerto Rico while I’m listening Bach. Maybe I’m a fool but I’m sick and tired of this imaginary that places everything posh and sophisticated between France and London. Antonioni, Scola, Monicelli, Germi, De Sica, Sordi...Pisano ( and other wonderful composers ) used to write for these directors for Italian movies. I’m sorry I don’t want to sound nationalist but this is what Italy was during the ‘60 and thinking just about French Riviera, which I adore, in my opinion it’s reductive. Peace ✌️
The man must have truly loved Jean to have written such a magnificent song for her.
Don't know how I got here but so glad I did. This key changes are amazing.
This can't be real...My ears have been blessed with the finest sound in human history....
exiting
Brilliant
gotta love Berto Pisano💕
I JUST LOVE IT ❤️✌️👌👍

Brani unici, meravigliosi.
You can just picture a nice, new 1965 T-Bird cruising the French Riviera, on a nice drive on a tranquil weekend afternoon.
LOL! Wow, that's exactly what I was thinking... Like a scene from a 1965 spy movie.

This is one of the very best in Italian soundtracks. I’ve no idea what the film is like. Probably completely rubbish
