AFO is the most underrated antagonist in Shonen. Not many people like him because he took advantage of Shigaraki, but this man is almost comparable to Aizen in terms of Intelligence and Evil.

*“Extras” is a good name for this episode. We’re really seeing everyone doing their part to fight for their own cause. Todoroki, Toya, Ashido, Spinner, Shoji, Endeavor, Hawks, Jiro, Tokoyami, and others. There’s a lot of moving pieces and ideologies. Also the sludge villain is back. Oddly nice to see him again-*

It’s the classic case of heroes and villains not being so different. Everyone, every individual person, is doing their part and fighting for what they believe in. Freedom for heteromorphs, a father’s horrible sins, and whatever All for One is up to. Everyone is willing to put their own bodies on the line for a cause greater than themselves. It’s oddly beautiful.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Bones is cooking at this level this season. Usually producing a film plus a season means the season has some rough episodes. So far that's not the case. Bones is really doing a helluva job overall. Now they're gonna take a week off to prep for cour 2. Let Bones cook 🔥

Bro i read an explanation of the name jailbreaker calls Aoyama. He says "Aesop's bat" which I didn't catch at first but it comes from a fable about a bat that tried to play both sides of a war and ended up being rejected and hated by both sides. Such a cutting insult to throw at Yuga.

Looks like Touya’s not finished just yet. He’s inherited a lot of Endeavor’s persistence. In a way, what All for One is saying to Endeavor is kinda right. While Shoto wanted to be the one to confront Touya, he was ultimately Endeavor’s responsibility. It’s even something Endeavor realizes. But still, it’s just All for One being insincere despite the truths of what he’s saying. Just a plan to get in Endeavor’s head so he can beat him.
Yeah, the old man did kind of traumatize his whole family in a manner, and Toya was affected the most since he lit a fire under him that he couldn't put out. So it's kinda 65% of the old man's fault that Toya is the way he is, whether it's the whole family's fault or not.

All For One is really proving how much of a coward he is due to all the insults about the past he's giving. Also, in this episode's preview I saw shigaraki with that half-faced burn, which makes me think that Bakugo's "time" is the next episode or probably episode 11..😢🥲 July 13 or July 20 is gonna be a sad time.But damn, he literally sliced off Jirou's earphone like it was nothing special. And also, the thing that happened with Dabi, that's what we call a quirk awakening.

I completely disagree. Mental warfare is just as important as the physical one. If anything, it shows why he is the greatest villain in human history. Not only he has the power to destroy almost everyone by himself, but he can also use words to boost his attacks, as not to underestimate "wounded heroes". Everyone can kill by using their quirks. Not everyone can kill by using words. Not to mention the fact that he is dealing with the most two powerful heroes of Japan (Endeavour is at Kamino's All Might's level right now) with that dying body of his. He cannot see, he cannot breathe on his own, he has a bloody life-support on, not to mention he can only use a small amount of his quirks and yet he is still crushing them.

@@riccardox6068 I agree, All For One is very powerful. He managed to slam all 4 of them at once and with barely any effort. If he was in his Prime, he'd probably had killed them all in one attack. He even managed to give Prime All Might a very fatal wound in the stomach when he was also in Prime before all might punched his face off.

I wonder if we're watching some kind of match between heroes and villains.
This episode at the beginning was a bit too much "we scored first" as the news of Dabi's defeat (or it seems) spreads.
Now All for One seems to have scored...4 points. Four heroes, four wounded: it's bad. That mask is not breaking, Tokoyami is wounded, it's daytime and Dark Shadow doesn't work well with Endevor's flames.
I'm afraid this is one of those battles that is going to be segmented almost until the end...I don't know, it would be kind of anticlimactic seeing All for One defeated in the next episode.
But if Machia won't be freed, and neither Kurogiri, then All for One should at least manage to escape and reach other fighting locations.

What is the scary part in all of this, is that AFO is way past his prime.
If he was young and not having this breathing mask, he would be insanly scary.
This is why you shouldn’t listen to music while you fight, your opponent might cut your ear off.

did they censor what happened to endeavor here? I just read these manga chapters, and it was much clearer that he lost an arm. But yeah, Jiro losing half of her quirk is crazy...not that Hawks is doing much better lol

Unfortunately no, she wasn’t shown in the exam and she also had permanent scars on them from other battles, that didn’t heal. Besides that, it’s not only the lob but half her ear gone.
