I would always back Farke, he knows more than any of us about the team but on this occasion I was dumbfounded by the substitution of Soloman for Bamford, he was by far the most likely to unlock the defence, just can't fathom it 😮💨.
Daniel Farke has to be questioned about his decision making. Solomon coming off for Bamford, not playing Schmidt, managing squad ie Djed Spence last season, continuing with Byram when we know he can't last the course, not resting Aaronson and finally rigid predetermined subs
Happy New Year Ger! We are now 3 points clear, other results going our way again. I feel alright compared to this time last year, we are in a better position. If we can get through our next game against Hull, players will have a chance to rest. To this day, I can't believe Birmingham got rid of Eustace, he is a really good manager, and unfortunately he has our number!
Parking the bus is a legitimate tactic, no coach would set their team up to play that way if it didn't sometimes work and I don't blame Blackburn for doing it, they did it well and that could be a huge point for them. Biggest frustration for me is in the end it didn't work as we got the goal and had to work hard to get it only to switch off to conceed the corner and then not defend it properly. Still, our nearest rivals missed the chance to close on us and we've got Blackburn who seem to always be difficult for us out of the way.

No one picked up the knock back.....so poor. They defended really well and we rarely threatened except through Mano. Can get his frustration when subbed

Blackburn are a typical championships side ,big lumps hoping to stop the other side playing and hoping for set pieces,they get a few points that way and against attacking sides like us they're have a few chances like shit houseries side like Millwall , Preston ,and Watford but we won't have to worry about these sides as there talent and tactics will mean they'll only finish mid table ,we move on and up they'll say still
We simply need to hold out out for two minutes to get over the line and we couldn’t even manage that. Hugely disappointing finish but let’s put this into context. Five wins and two draws in the last seven is excellent form so let’s not get too upset everybody. We are still top of the league whatever happens between Sunderland and Sheff Utd later. A level headed analysis Ger. for me I stopped watching after 20 mins just too much like our away form of late. Just dumbfounded that Farke replaced Solomon with Barndoor. But players seem to lose all motivation when being defensive and Gnonto just runs laterally these days. Do not want Farke in prem.
We ended up with 4 CBs in the backline from 70 minutes on, losing any threat down the right. DF looking at keeping captain Amps happy over offensive threat from poor Isaac. So we ended up w Gnonto and DJ together on the right and looked structurally wrong. Still in pole position though.
Can be content with the draw while not being happy with the performance! A few players out of sorts, DJ.and AO particularly. Its exactly in games like this where Farke should shine but taking off Solomon and putting on Bamford doesn't exactly reflect a competent performanc from him.

Our whole defence is simply not good enough. Instead of running around like blue arse flies at dying moments we should have been Playing 11 goalkeepers. Every game we don't win at home is a bad result. We dropped 2 points, why should we have a better chance of winning them back away!? On this appalling effort I'm still sticking to my pre-season prediction that we will definitely not be relegated this season. Incidentally, having seen Paul Reaney jogging recently, I think it could make a significant difference if we brought him on for the last 15 minutes or so in a few critical games like this one.
Mate Farke had Piroe playing too deep again the lad does best poaching and creating around the 6 yd box...its not that difficult why does he make it so? And total misuse of Scmidt and Guilavogui who we could have used inextra time. Ugh.
Without that Quality physical striker up front, we will always be liable to be caught by work man like physical teams like Blackburn. Piroe good but not physical enough not liable to get stuck into their centre halves or get on the end of those great crosses. We need that plan B , must get that forward to get us Ten plus goals or we will always be looking over our shoulder in tight games. There are many games where we should have won. A Blunt Spear will not cut it , We need to invest in January and practise defending corners and set pieces.

I drove back from the coast to watch that tripe. I couldn’t understand what our tactics were especially the first half. Farke’s timing for the subs was stupid, it was during our best spell!
yeah id agree, but i felt this was more their set up than anything badly we did. They were solid. Sometimes its not what we did badly, but what they did well.
Solomon was ok but kept losing the ball and it going out. I thought Werber had a good night very strong. We didn't pass the ball quick enough in the middle and needed to attack more. We didn't shoot like Dan James should have shot when he was in the box. Forwards needs more movement in the box to static for me.

I'd like to know what the 'howler' was from Meslier today ?, if you're talking about the goal you are way off the mark, there isn't a keeper in the division who could have collected that corner, it was outstanding, if anything it was the defence that was to blame.

Bamford is a absolutely shit! He needs to get sold, and the club need to bring in a prolific striker and a 10. Otherwise we're not going up!
